I finally reached my life long goal!

Well when I first started playing Trials a couple of months ago I always wanted to be in the top 10,000 and I reached that, then I wanted to get in the top 5,000, then I achieved that and took it down to the top 1,000. I achieved that roughly a month ago, I then set my sights on 500 and I got it, and I then seemed to get stuck at roughly 300 for a while. I stopped playing Trials and moved onto other games, then a couple of weeks ago I went back, and I some how managed to get down to about 180 and stayed there. Well, over the last couple of days I went on a spree and this morning I topped at 99 overall in the leaderboards (+DLC), I was so happy, I had never ever goten so high on any game. I then set my next target at 75, and some how managed to achieve that in less than an hour after my 99. So I'm now ranked 75 in the world and I'm happy I'll go back on it in a bit and see if I can reduce my ranking further My targets will go down in 25's until I get to 25 (Probably won't ever happen).

Well done! I remember playing the game for a few weeks after its release and I saw that my rank was somewhere around 1000. I wasnt trying for any rank, just playing the game. When I saw that I decided to see how far I could get. I was hooked ever since. I am now kinda stuck at a rank of 27 and I dont think I will climb much more. I will probably slowly drop since I mainly play customs now. You will probably end up passing me soon at this rate.

    Wow... congrats you guys!

Last night I was trying to see how I could improve my score, cause I'm hovering over 250. Looks like I need some practice with the skill games, and I need to spend more time on tourneys (as evident in my signature). I'm hoping for that patch to be released soon so I can get rid of those silvers, but I could probably start working on lowering my faults on certain tourneys.

I've just been so addicted to tracks lately. I'm trying to platinum all the extremes, and I took almost a minute off my Goin' Up time and I'm still 6 seconds or so shy of a platinum. At least I know I can do it though..

It's so much easier now than when I first zero-faulted it. I used to be terrible at the part where you have to drop and go backwards.

I wish I could say that I think I'll make the top 100, but as much as I enjoy the skill games, I enjoy riding the tracks so much more. When it comes down to it, I'd rather be having as much fun as I can.

it was my only plat left to get from the original tracks (skill games and tourneys not included) and i got it last night... by .226!

imo the most frustrating plat time to achieve on all the extremes. there's a couple of places you won't fault at, but can end up wasting time at.

just sharing my joy at having platinumed all the original tracks now

EDIT : and meant to say as well that i do really want to advance my ranking but i feel the same as you lesprit, i don't want to hit the skill games hard because i just don't enjoy them.

i long for race rankings and skill game rankings to be separated...

Congrats! What do you have left on the DLC? I know you said you were working on Diabolic..

I managed to platinum Goin' Up last night as well! I totally agree that while it's not exactly the toughest course, there are a lot of places where you can easily waste time trying to get by obstacles. I still have Inferno II from the original tracks left.

I could not 0 fault Diabolic and I had 2 faults on my best run, and I was trying earlier and somehow, somehow I managed to 0 fault it, and in a fast time putting me 42th on that track, so I have now platinumed all the tracks, just the tourneys and a couple of skill games left!

EDIT: And I'm now 59th in the world Goin' Up!
