And then if you make it past the last beam jump, You will get hit by a hammer. I did that twice.
I actually made it all the way once, thought I was through and got hit by a hammer out of nowhere. I actually didn't mind too much, my time was awful, over 2:30 due to going up and down the steep I-beam about 5 times.
Finally nailed it. Crappy time of 2:12 (+23 Sec from my 1 fault) but its done. Did have a -15 secs run going before the pipes then dumped right before but oh well. I remember first getting the game that it seemed absurd anyone could zero fault Technique/King of the Hill never mind the Extremes and I got the 4 Originals done. What a game. On too the next track I guess....
congrats
im still far from doing that, and as you said, doing it seemed totally impossible not long ago, but consistent play really seem to work. im stoked on how this game is set up to keep the progression flowing all the time, its always something to try improving, going from the very first levels on beginner to the hardest tracks in the game. its very satisfying.
hope i someday can manage the extremetracks with zero fouls too =)

i was quite shocked at what standard was required for platinum but i haven't managed to get it but i know one EPIC run and i could get it quite easily.
i am at 3 faults. the i beam tire tap right near end is waht gets me. im a lil late on the tire subject but i learned from lestropie replays that its all about momentum. come back and land on 1st tire and use the lil bump off the wall as a push forward, gun it, and front tire tap and bounce the 2nd tire and continue into a front flip over dynamite box and land on the flat of the solar panel section shaving ruffly 2-3 seconds off time. im about 1/20 on that trrick. and when i do suceed i just throw it all away with a stupid fault elsewhere. i believe it was sebbi who made inferno2.. i have made a revamped much harder version of the same inferno 2 of course without all the developers knowledge if anyone would like to try. its not 1 of my favorites that ive made and old from last year but others still like the challenge. i even gave ya 3 faults for platinum... muhhahhahah
It took me about 4 hrs to get from 3 faulsts down to 1 and another 3 the next day to get the plat. I beat my time by another 9 sec the other day too, so just go for it! I got all the rest of the race plats I needed that week just from the buzz!Originally Posted by BlueMageFTW
