Are you sure your not just hungover ender? i cant play trials when im hungover

Lol, Haven't had a hangover in yrs, the last time i did i swore it would be the last.

I play on a really crappy tv, but when I do get to use an hdtv my timing isn't usually off, but I'm also not nearly as good as other people. Maybe give it more time

I gave it another couple hrs. I did get a bit better but not to the precise reactions i need. I ended up doing a bunch of Skumbag customs and they got me a little better when i went back and did some game tracks but it's still not enough. I think i'm gonna take the tv back and get a 32' and if that doesn't work i'll just put my old tv back up.

Check if your TV has a gaming mode or something similar. Many new TVs have so much image processing that there can be a lag of several frames and a gaming mode will try reduce it and put the image to the screen as fast as possible. Even a few frame lag can cause a noticable effect and really mess up your timings. I had a similar problem when I switched to my new TV.

If your TV does not have a "Gaming Mode", you should disable the TV set's motion interpolation system, as it's the biggest cause of the input lag. Motion interpolation is called by different brand names in different TV models, such as "Intelligent Frame Creation", "TruMotion", "Digital Clear Motion", "MotionFlow" etc... I have the "Intelligent Frame Creation" only enabled for my DVR and Blueray player, and not for my gaming consoles. Most TV sets allow you to configure the settings separately for each HDMI input.

So i ended up taking it back and getting a 32' samsung. Picture is great and the gameplay is exactly what i'm used to. I'm gonna say it was a combination of not being used to a big tv and the slight frame rate change. It probably did lag a couple frames a sec even after i found the gaming mode setting. I might have gotten used to it eventually but i'm really digging my new tv so it's all good. Bigger isn't always better...for tvs anyway

Thanks for the knowledge jorma and sebbi, yet another example of many that separates Redlynx from the average game company.

i agree ender, i think 32" is best. im happy with mine, wouldnt want a bigger one
