    Question about advanced tecnique!

I have a question to some of you really good players.
When you are in the middle of a jump I have seen some of you lifts the whole bike up to gain extra height to land flat on the next platform, so how do you do it?
I´m about place 500 on the leaderboard right now and I think I really need to learn this move to shave of the seconds.

    Re: Question about advanced tecnique!

i know just what u mean.. im rank 450ish was playing diabolic 0 faults till the nightmare 3 jumps with the barrell at the top ( near the end) after nearly crushing the joypad and 10 faults later i watched some replays... hereis a classic example of your query. u need to jump up then sit down on the bike quickly when u land on next jump then as you take off again push and hold up on stick to lift bike higher. the rider will pull the bike higher bending his legs to do so. so.... watch some replays of this or the jump you need to do and watch the stick in the corner.. also it can be important how you approach the jump. correct speed and position of rider before you take off.. just watch replays and try to find a top player who plays similar to you.. i watch papaperrti a lot as i like to think i play similar to him ( well i try) and it seems to work for me when im struggeling.. hope that helps

Usually when i am going for really big air, i hold lean back on a jump then release right as you leave the jump

I had trouble with stuff like this too at first.
I bought Trials2SE for the PC a few weeks ago and have been learning skills on that, you can use THD.
Really helped me find out how to get more height, longer jumps etc.
Also as the others have said, watch replays, do what they do and understand why they do what they do.

To bunny hop you just lean back when approaching the jump, then lean forward as you leave the jump.... takes a bit of getting used to but practice it and you'll be clearing those problem spots in no time.

I think a good example of what you are asking about can been seen on Lestropie's (and a few others) replay of Groundhog Forever. Near the start of the course when jumping to the upper level you can see him pull his bike up to be parallel with the landing.

The stick input is quickly forward (right) and then quickly back to seat the rider. This prevents the rear wheel from hitting the edge of the landing.
