For anyone that hasn't heard already, Xbox Live will no longer be available for original Xbox games starting on April 15, 2010. That means no more multiplayer for Halo 2, Counterstrike, Crimson Skies, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, etc. That sucks for people who still play those games. But they said that that it will open up new possibilities for the service. This was the reason for the friends list being limited to 100, and now that Xbox Live will only be available through the 360, the limit can be increased. Microsoft said that they will give news on their plans to improve the service soon.
Lets all hope we will soon be able to have 200+ friends to share more Trials tracks!![]()
Sweet!100 limit isn't nearly enough.....Hope it goes to 500+ Would make things alot easier and esp better for Trials HD

And people said that nobody needs more than 100 friends!Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88

trials is def the only game where 100 aint enough.... bring on april... BUT will our heros at red lynxx be able to increase our track memory again.. im sure we all would like and most def need more. i filled my 200 in about 2 days lol
Lol, I bought a memory card as well as my HD, so have space for 400 tracks, but almost filled that too!Originally Posted by raistlin2076
I heard of a way you can have 300 on each, by moving folders around in your memory settings, but 400 has slowed my xbox down enough as it is thx!
great idea with memory cards... does it still slow down if you remove the memory cards.. please explain reason for slow down before i buy several memory cards lol thanks ??????
The memory cards don't slow it down, its having 600 tracks loaded lol I use memory cards (have 4 of them) and I don't think its that bad. Worth it to have 600 tracks/device then 200.Originally Posted by raistlin2076
I have the arcade bundle xbox and there's like 500mb of internal memory because it didn't come with a hard drive. So I get to store more tracks there along with my 120gb hard drive (bought separately) and memory card.![]()
That sounds like a fair trade. I finally wouldn't have to babysit my friends list. Hope this happens sooner than later.
It doesn't slow down the game itself, but does make loading custom tracks slower and my list of custom tracks takes ages to load as well!.Originally Posted by raistlin2076
Worth the inconvenience in my opinion.
