So true...When you start getting carefull, you lose rhythm, and rhythm is the key to stay in the zone...
i was just saying about 3 days ago how much better i play in the morning. yet last night (well 2am) i was on fire. moved up about 50 places to 472ish and said i play better at night. so as said, it really totally depends on the mood your in. if your feeling the power lol.... but really i know when to stop. when im finding easy runs stressfull i know its time to turn it off.... as for tournaments it is a major problem taking the so called easy route only to go too slow and fall down a hole i know is going to be there. as your only going to have to do it again anyway my advice would be to go all out every time.. that way at least your learning the route you will have to take eventually anyway..
I was thinking about this earlier.
I recon I take about 2 runs of most tracks to gold level and then maybe 5 more before I can match my previous best.
I do get on it somedays, and ride like a Jedi from the start. Days like this I go for the extreme tracks and try and beat my old record. Or if I'm feeling really brave, I'll have a go at some of the hardest user creations I have collected.
I did F.T's 'Be the ninja' the other day and if it wasn't for the swing near the finish, I would have done it in 9 retrys! And I made it to the secret bit! El Diablo!
Lol, No worries m8 I'm 428ish!Originally Posted by raistlin2076

Random for me but if you do have to do space. Play that one and only trackfor the day or session as the physics are so different. I agree to a certain extent about going all out all the time but sometimes you do so good at the start of a tourney I don't have the balls to keep at it and I just go safe for the rest. Happy that I got a zero fault run 1.18sec on prison break tourney with six overall. But that was slow.
I've played so much that after taking about a week or two off of the game a while back I managed to get back into things after about 30 seconds. Then again, the swing was never perfect, but it's my swing.
varies!
few days ago i just played inferno II as my first track and i got 13 faults and 2:03 seconds.. lol i was stunned!
now im at 9 Faults ad 1:54 seconds.. so close to getting my replay on LB! i have all Extreme tracks on gold apart from "goin up" not including DLC
