Hello fellow Trials Riders. I've decided it's time to start publicizing my custom tracks so that people beyond my family, friends and coworkers can enjoy the fruits of my labor. Below is a list of the tracks I've made so far, listed in release order starting with my newest track. And as always, if you enjoy the tracks, please take a moment to rate them and upload your best times at TrialsHD.net. Feedback is also always welcome.
[list:1ryqvfwg][*:1ryqvfwg]Traverse III - Faced with yet another underground cliff, our hero begins to wonder if he will ever reach the end of this deadly cavern. As he sets off to do the only thing he knows how to do, he asks himself one question: "Dynamite? Really? As if the totally inadequate logs weren't bad enough, some ******* had to throw in a bunch of dynamite too?"[/*:m:1ryqvfwg]
[*:1ryqvfwg]Traverse II - The adventure continues in part II of this epic saga. How did our hero end up stuck underground in this terrifying cavern? The world may never know... All we can do is cross our fingers and hope that he can pull off another miracle and survive this new traverse.[/*:m:1ryqvfwg]
[*:1ryqvfwg]Break and Enter - Waiter, I'd like to start with a little bit of late night breaking and entering, followed by a hearty portion of evading arrest. To top it all off, let's go with a dessert of home invasion and a rooftop escape. Sounds delicious, doesn't it? Oh, and no mustard on my bike.[/*:m:1ryqvfwg]
[*:1ryqvfwg]Traverse - Deep inside an underground cavern, our intrepid hero comes to the end of his tunnel and discovers that the only way forward is a death defying traverse across the face of a cliff. Equipped only with his trusty motorcycle, he sets off on what may be his final adventure, all the while asking himself, "What idiot decided to make this traverse so dangerous? Would it have been that hard to simply add a few more logs?"[/*:m:1ryqvfwg]
[*:1ryqvfwg]Gravity Master - What would happen if the laws of gravity could be bent to your will? Forget about just riding on the floor - in this warehouse, the rules no longer apply. Take a ride on these mind bending tracks and see if you too can master gravity...[/*:m:1ryqvfwg]
[*:1ryqvfwg]Flow Rider - A free-flowing ride on fun swooping ramps through a night-time warehouse.[/*:m:1ryqvfwg]
[*:1ryqvfwg]Glass House - An airy ride across precarious suspension bridges and pendulums. Multiple different routes to the end, including a "Ninja difficulty" shortcut to the end.[/*:m:1ryqvfwg][/list:u:1ryqvfwg]
I sent you a request, I can do it tonight remind me thanks.
I've already said this in amsg to you but I'll stick it here as well for the rest of the guys to see.
Flow Rider - Good line and a very nice flow. I am not a fan of custom camera angles and that's no secret to anyone on these forums so I was never going to like that. However they aren't as bad as some of the tracks I've played but I always feel that it is too distracting when there is a camera shift. Might be just me but hey
A good fun track nonetheless.
Glass House - I can't get past the glass road (2nd obstacle I think) so I can't comment on the track as a whole yet.
Due to that the difficulty should be set to extreme instead of hard. I get to the last 3 panes or so and never make it.
Gravity Master - This track is a masterclass in innovation! I hate Spacestation with a passion but Gravity Master uses the added gravity to such good effect I was blown away. This is definitely my favourite track of yours out of the 3 and when I get a good time down I'll add it to TrialsHD.net.
Overall I like what I see and look forward to seeing what you produce in the future![]()
Just added a new track called Traverse. While Glass House may be on the borderline between hard and extreme difficulty (stick with it EF - you'll figure out how to get past the glass catwalk, and the second half of the level is the real gem), Traverse is unquestionably extreme. Here's the description from TrialsHD.net:
Deep inside an underground cavern, our intrepid hero comes to the end of his tunnel and discovers that the only way forward is a death defying traverse across the face of a cliff. Equipped only with his trusty motorcycle, he sets off on what may be his final adventure, all the while asking himself, "What idiot decided to make this traverse so dangerous? Glass House - Absolutely love this track. At first, I'll agree that i too thought it might have been an Extreme track, but once you get the hang of the difficult sections, I do feel that Hard is where this belongs. The Pendulums are just crazy, and the variety of routes after that really make you want to replay and try them.
Gravity Master - very different and unique, great track to show off to someone who isn't of expert skill
Flow Rider - I like the lighting affects and flowy nature of the course. Not too challenging, unless you are trying to get a good time and that proves to be more difficult than you expect.
Traverse - very challenging course, but has some cool obstacles to get past that I haven't seen (like the steps), and a few sections are really going to test your ability to figure out the correct amount of pressure to apply to get past them.
Overall all of these tracks are very well done, and could easily have been included with the original game or as DLC. I have enjoyed them thoroughly and have shared them with others to try.
Glass House - Hard track but worth the time. I know a lot of people get frusterated with the glass floor section in the beginning. Keep practising and you will get across.
Gravity Master - Blew my mind the first time I played it. Very creative and an excellent example of what a person who thinks a little can do with the robust editor.
Flow Rider - I like the lighting affects and flowy nature of the course. Not too challenging, unless you are trying to get a good time and that proves to be more difficult than you expect.
Traverse - I have only tried once and ran out of time. ( I spent way too much time on the platforms inthe middle part. It was Inferno II's "3 pallets of doom all over again.)
I have really enjoyed all your tracks so far and look forward to more.
Gravity Master
I drop the controller with my lower jaw when realized the idea!! I suggest give it a go!
Just added a new track called Break and Enter. This was my first real attempt at creating "atmosphere" and "mood" in my tracks. The setting is a late night ride in the city that quickly turns into a warehouse burglary, a police chase, and a final rooftop getaway (you'll have to ditch your bike in order to get away). Here's the description from TrialsHD.net:
As always, feedback is greatly appreciated. If you like what I'm doing, let me know so I can stay motivated to make more. If you don't like what I'm doing, let me know so I can change it.Waiter, I'd like to start with a little bit of late night breaking and entering, followed by a hearty portion of evading arrest. To top it all off, let's go with a dessert of home invasion and a rooftop escape. Sounds delicious, doesn't it? Oh, and no mustard on my bike.![]()
I am sure you have heard enough of it, but gravity master is awesome! so creative and fun. I was on route to platinum but endo flipped head first into the last ramp.
The new one is cool as well, I like the flashing police lights, they were used to great effect. I still have yet to get my route down, I have so many customs to play. I'll return to it.
Yeah, my friends at work and I still have a lot of fun playing Gravity Master (we usually play my latest tracks for half an hour or so after lunch each day - working at Xbox has its benefits). I'm 0.2 seconds away from getting platinum on it, and I know there are places where I could shave a little time off my run.
Glad to hear you liked Break and Enter. Midway through making that track, I wasn't sure if I liked how it was turning out. After finishing the warehouse section and the initial police barricade, I wasn't really sure how to end the level and was concerned that the level didn't really hang together as a cohesive experience. Late last night I came up with the idea for the ending ( I don't want to say too much as I don't want to give it away for people who haven't tried it yet) and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I like how it stays true to the track's theme of doing whatever it takes to escape getting arrested. Toward the end, I hit the 1000 item limit and had to decrease the detail in the warehouse in order to have enough pieces left to finish the level... Looking at it again today after getting some sleep, I'm realizing that the end could use a little bit more cosmetic decoration and polish. Maybe I'll remove a few boxes from the warehouse and add a little something to the ending.
