    I'm only 16...

... well, maybe I could offer a second place prize of one virtual high-five delivered personally from me?

Can I submit a track that I've already created? I'd like to submit my Cavern track, though it does have some blocky lighting.

    fliptaco, just ask teh parents.
also, when will the comp end/the prize be sent out, because i'm just over a month shy of 18, so it would save alot of bother for me if the prize is sent after 11th march (in the very unlikely event that i win)

Maybe this needs to be a touch more prominent an announcement to attract as many track creators as possible ?
    Just a thought.

I like how you contradicted yourself by offering the simple suggestion that I should ask my parents, then mention that you hope the deadline is in a month so you don't need to put up with the bother of asking your parents

I'm not going to bother asking my parents, though, as it seems idiotic to ask their permission to do something that I would otherwise normally do (track-building) but I live in Canada anyway and the MS points are only eligible in the UK and US as of yet. My high-five for second place is still out there, though

Canada, United States, and United Kingdom users are now allowed to enter.

    Thank you Amazon!

We haven't set an end date as we have no idea what the response will be. We don't want the winner to wait a month if there are only 20 to 30 tracks submitted. But we didn't want to say we would be done judging in a week or two if there were hundreds of submissions.

I was going to have a contest too but i can't compete with this one. I was gonna do a skill game contest for 1600 and already had a 2nd judge lined up(JayemB). o well.

I guess i'll just offer my assistance to any designers whether they need a tester or a honest opinion. For those not already on my friends list you can find me on the overall leaderboards.

Excellent contribution to the community guys! Great thing about this is even though there's only one winner the community will get more awesome tracks from the designers that can be enjoyed for awhile.
