level to seperate out the bikes
i've been trying to make a level where all the bikes have a sporting chance against each other (or at least some of them.
to do this, i needed to make a path that the 80cc and 125cc bikes could get to, but the others could not.
i have seperated the micro donkey (60cc) easily enough, but the others are proving difficult
*edit*
thought i'd edit the OP to make things easier.
here is what i've tried to seperate out the rest of the bikes:
- trebuchet/seesaw: failed, because all bikes seem to have the same weight, or at least their weight difference is so small i cant make anything sensitive enough to notice the difference
- tight fit height wise/ground clearance: failed because i've found all bikes have the same ground clearance.
however, i've found one thing to seperate out the phoenix - the phoenix is the only bike not to have a front mud guard. i have tried once and failed to make a device to lift a bike by the mud guards, but i'll have another crack at it soon

Re: level to seperate out the bikes
For the 80 you could of course use a vent shaft.

Re: level to seperate out the bikes
sorry, didnt mean the micro donkey, i meant that bike you got at the start, but thats just far too sensible a way to put the micro donkey in there too.
*edit*
ive had a good old go at this, and i'm still stumped.
seperating out the donkey is easy enough (although the other bikes will fit down the vent, you can just lower the vent into the floor)
i have tried making an adjustable see saw, which will lower any bike that is heavy enough, but by doing this, i have found that all the bikes are exactly the same weight.
i thought of making a jump where the phoenix could only just reach the end, but then i realised that the phoenix could reach the 80cc bike's landing spot with ease.
my only ideas i have are:
- using the afterburner - would this get the 80, or even 125cc bike to go somewhere the phoenix couldnt
- ground clearance - the 80cc bike has slightly better ground clearance than the phoenix. could someone suggest some way of capitalising on that to seperate them out.
thanks for any help
