GamerBytes released a year 2009 Xbox Live Arcade analysis. If you want to see how Trials HD and the Big Pack DLC compared against the rest, read it here:

This is what they said about Trials HD:
"Trials HD has had over 640,000 players play its game, and it truly is a phenomenon that surpassed everyone's expectations. Shadow Complex comes just behind it, followed by Hasbro Family Game Night, with just over 400,000 unique users.
...
The Trials HD DLC on the other hand, much like the game itself, has far exceeded expectations. 91,382 people had played the first extra course from the Trials HD “Big Pack”, an astonishing number."
whats odd to me is all my friends who have 360 and are on it daily still hadn't heard of Trials HD until I told them. Then they instantly get it. Some people need to give call of duty a rest![]()
Trials HD can easy get to around 1.5 million players this year. if you look what is acomplished in 6 months.=700.000 players.
What really suprises me about those statistics are that nobody has really bought the DLC. I think that some of those levels are very creative and well done, people need to stop being so cheap![]()
Those are old statistics. Over 25% of the player base now has bought the DLC (one player in four). This is a huge sales percentage if you look at any DLC of any game. Currently the DLC and the game are selling pretty much the same every day (almost 100% of new players own the DLC), so the percentage of DLC owners keeps rising all the time. It's enterely possible that more than one third of the players (33%) own the DLC before the end of this year.Originally Posted by Mellar
You have to take it into account that many players are buying live arcade games to enjoy the game for a week or maybe a few weekends. Most live arcade players are not hardcore players that use 20+ hours on a single arcade game (play though all levels and unlock all achievements). Around 30% of the players haven't even passed a single hard track before moving to another game. This is entirely normal behaviour. I have bought several arcade games that I haven't completed even half way. And if a DLC would be released for any of these arcade games I haven't passed, I doubt I would buy it. No matter how cheap the price.
According to the current weekly DLC sales compared to the weekly game sales, it seems that majority of the active Trials HD players own the DLC. And also this would mean that almost 30% of our player base is still active (after half year of the release). That's fantastic for any arcade game.
I'll be active on Trials HD until a sequel is released![]()
I totally agree with you, I'm the same.Originally Posted by sebbbi
