I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR AGES TO MAKE A SERIES OF DOORS SLIDE UP...... CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE SITUATION??????
Try two pistons one on each side of the door plate hidden behind a metal plate wall? I usually let the doors slide down from gravity. Can use limited rotation hinge and make it be pushed open to the side thats always cool looking.
Also you can try a counter weight.....Weight on one end, connected to a see saw, and the other see saw connected to the metal plate. Trigger physics to weight falling and door should open upwards.
or maybe use the pull piston but i dont know if it would lift very high
I haven't tried but you could maybe use strong wind. Does wind move other objects that are switched physics on?
I don't think it does....I tried to do that and the object didnt move.Originally Posted by MNM1245

Use two stacked pistons glued to each other. Glue the door to the higher piston upper part. Move the pistons behind some wall if you do not want to show them to the player.
Why not have 2 rotating wheels, which activate in opposite direstions while touching the door, pulling it up. That's how i'd do it.
