I would like to thank all the players that competed in this Season 2 challenge and made it something to remember. If it wasn't for your efforts, support and hard racing this would be a cake walk to our champions, but you guys made it a challenge.
Everyone thought he would win this challenge and if gambling was legal, I would say it's a sure bet. RedRider686 took this challenge and destroyed everyone hopes and dreams by winning with 84 points under his belt. He made sure people went to sleep crying and he kept the pressure on until the last minute.
On the other hand second place in this challenge was won by no other than our very own TrialsHD.net sponsored rider Ender IXl. Out of all 15 tracks he only failed to get top spots in only 3 of them, giving RedRider686 the opportunity to edge out a win. But our Beast rider didn't give up and he gave it his all until his final breath as he crashed his rider on the final track. Very few where able to get the achievement out of him, he held that close to his chest.
The final spot was won by Murdoc Loch the mastermind behind Trials Commune. He doesn't only make sick tracks for the community, he showed everyone that he can ride better than all of them. His tenacity towards getting incredible runs on this challenge helped him shove the competition over and stand proudly at third. He only missed second place by 2 points.
All in all everyone had incredible runs and heart clenching, hand sweating, controller breaking moments.

Thank you for participating,

i think the most fair way is
2. We do weekly votes for a single track to make it to the weekend challenge and added to the season
then the community can vote for the tracks to be played, that way it will be enjoyed the most occuring to votes.
The battle proof thing is good too![]()
sounds like fun, i like the points system, reminds me of nascar lol
curious to see how the voting thing goes tho, some newcomers might not have a chance to get picked if we pick tracks for the whole year, perhaps we could vote by monthly, that wouldn't be so bad...
...also, how about having like a skills game added to every other weekend challenge or something, lots of skills tracks have are being made right now, and skills games are always fun, i dont think the skills tracks should be related to the points system in that case tho, a non-points event kinna thing...jus an idea...
i want a trials t-shirt lol
I like the idea of number 3, fair play to you the amount of effort your putting in is astonishing.
Good to hear the Weekend Challenge will soon commence ...
I agree with the first 2 posts in that a weekly vote by the "trials community" of this site would be best so that tracks that are yet to be created have a chance to be included in future competitions. You can do a vote post on the forum here each week. I think Gamescrub should nominate 3 tracks from those submitted each week and then we vote for one of those. And as Paralyzer mentioned, maybe every 3 or 4 weeks you could have a Skill game week where all the nominated tracks are Skill ones.
I like the ranked battle system too, my only criticism of that would be that it may put some people off if they join the party late and everyone else has a good few points on the board. For those who are there at the beginning and play most weeks it adds another dimension to the competition though so there are positives and negatives to introducing it. Personally, I like it but thought I'd mention a potential issue. Also, I would like to see the Skill games as part of the ranked battle system because it may spice up the leaderboards a bit. There are those who are better at the Skill games than the Racing tracks although I'm not one of them so it would probably be to the detriment of my own score that I say this!

Sounds good guys!
About someone joining in late situation. That is why there are leaderboards and ranbats. You can still compete on the leaderboards even though you missed the weekly challenge competition.
The ranked battles are like a tournament, so if you start late you pay the consequences BUT since it's points based if you start at a later time you can still win if you score high consistently.
As far as tracks go I was thinking of keeping up with the same model I was trying to use last year.
Weeks
1. Medium Track
2. Hard Track
3. Skill Track
4. Extreme Track
Not sure how many tracks to use for the season. Don't want to go too long or ppl will get bored with no end in sight or too short because some feel they where not give proper track challenges to compete.
Any ideas are welcomed!!!
Yeah, in some ways I like your thinking with making each week a specific difficulty, it means all levels and difficulties are definitely catered for once a month. Although I can also see some potential problems there. If you've got people who don't get on well with Extreme courses and Skill games, and from plenty of messages I've either received or read on here, there are a lot of people who only really play medium and hard tracks - 50% of the Weekend Challenge weeks will probably be ignored by them. I believe leaving the Skill game week separate would be a good thing but perhaps mixing up the other tracks each week? Not necessarily 1 x Medium, 1 x Hard and 1 x Extreme each week to pick from but always a mixture. ie: Week 1: 1 x Medium, 2 x Hard ... Week 2: 1 x Hard, 2 x Extreme ... Week 3: 1 x Medium, 1 x Hard, 1 x Extreme etc. It also gives you more options for making sure you have 3 tracks available each week.
I reckon you should be looking at maybe a 15 week Challenge season? Then you could do 3 a year with a couple of weeks off between each and an extra week off at Christmas - Total: 15 + 2 + 15 + 2 + 15 + 3 = 52 weeks. If you make each season too long then people who joined late have to wait maybe 3 or 4 months to properly challenge in the next one.

I understand about the love for medium to hard, since I like extreme but I give up on the extreme++ ones. But here is the kicker though. Lets say you like medium or hard, well MR. RedRider is usually beasting them so the skill track or extreme track is your ticket to get your points up.
You are correct that player count might go down depending on what difficulty level but if they are smart they should capitalize on the situation.
Not having a set in stone this week medium and this week hard method might add more flexibility, I think if I have one then track creators can shoot for an extreme track and know when they need to submit it. Not sure about this, I'll think about it or maybe more peoples input would be awesome.
Thanks guys this is helping out a lot.

Sorry GameScrub for the confusing explanation - No, I'm only saying do 1 track a week. What I mean is instead of saying week 1 is medium, week 2 is hard and week 3 is extreme - all you need to say is that weeks 1 - 3 will be racing tracks and week 4 is a Skill track. So week 1 you yourself have nominated 3 tracks to be put to the vote and they can be any difficulty, not just all Medium or all Hard etc. And my convoluted explanation was also trying to say that 'various' doesn't mean it has to be 1 of each difficulty each week but whatever you happen to have available. It just gives you more scope with the tracks and also means that the majority are always happy if they've also got some say in the difficulty being played that week.
Hope that makes more sense. No? Dammit!
haha it makes perfect sense and I agree with your assessment. In fact that is what i'm going to do!![]()
Thx
