    HELP

I am trying to make a big car with two iron balls (from the skill game inside the ball) and a platform in the middle. I use two free rotation and put each one between the platform and the iron balls, then I do all the gluing to make it like a car in the tutorial that sipe made. Then when I test it going downhill, what happens is the platform falls and the ball behind the platform roll onto the platform, I want to make it so that the balls stay evenly apart from the platform and the platform stays balanced, what do I do?

    Re: HELP

    Does it look like: O-O?

It is hard to get a good picture of what is happening without more detail, but let me check a few things. When you place the hinges are you placing them at the exact center of the ball? Snap the ball to the riders line then snap the hinge to the riders line and line up the hinge by moving it UP/DOWN and LEFT/RIGHT. Then you should be able to glue the hinge to the ball and platform.

Also, you said you're using the larger ball (the ball object the rider rides INSIDE of), but why not just use the smaller ball (the ball object the rider rides OUTSIDE of). The two balls are structually different. You cannot place objects inside of the smaller ball because that is invisible object space, but with the larger ball you can place objects inside because that is empty object space not just invisible. So this may be just a theory, but maybe your idea won't work in some way because of this. Basically what I'm saying is try your idea with both types of balls.
