Big Wheel level editor technology discussion
Trials Community,
I go by the moniker "awesomecomb" on here and xbox live. This shall be my first post. Anyways I have wanted, for a while, to create a newer vehicle to drive rather than the motorcycle. I first began with a box with wheels propelled by the back tire touching the ground, then more sophisticatedly I tried to add gears to the back of the box for speed and stability, neither worked for more than a yard. Recently I have been thinking of making a sort of tricycle or big wheel. I created a cart and added wheels to the back again propelled by the back tire. It works!... sorta, I am able to ride but if I am going up a ramp the front tire will stop the bike on a dime. I added two more wheels to the front and a short board(to keep front tire off the ground), and it helps but doesn't work consistently. I also experimented with rockets, anti gravity, and wind to no avail. I attached a video to help visualize the trike and the four wheel cart, if you have any ideas on how to improve the design (reduce friction or possibly a material with less friction) or maybe you have done something similar on your own, let me know.

Re: Big Wheel level editor technology discussion
I guess thats a cool idea but that just isn't right with this game, they would have to change so many tracks so that they could fit a 4 wheel cart or a tricycle to ride. The point of the game is for there to be one thin line you ride on, not a huge line where you could not fit the biker on many objects. They would have to make a whole leaderboard and all new tracks. That would be good as a different game.

Thanks for the reply
My main point of interest is making a cycle/car for my personal tracks, not to change the game. The controls themselves wouldn't be feasible for a game of this technicality. If you watch the video, it will show my test track is a ramp with a landing and a drop. Very simple. I love the game and how it plays, I would guess this falls under the category of skill game, kind of like flugtag.

awesomecomb check out my track Smooth Blue Gamertag: smokin411
What I created was a vehicle propelled by your rear tire with a board that holds your front tire. Now, you must realize my vehicle was created on a larger scale, but using some inginuity, I'm sure you could come up with something smaller.
