Oi....I guess the video didn't show well. lol I was trying to place more objects but it wouldn't let me. @ :24 I placed 5 barrels. I tried to then place 5 more but it wouldn't let me, so I went to single. Then I placed a second single barrel and it wouldn't let me. If you notice the room complexity @ ~:27-:28 it jumps to max but there is no where NEAR the amount of room complexity in it. Thats why I went to single. I moved away cause of the room complexity. I can make another video trying to place it even farther away. I can't place one object. none. I find it really odd. Which is why I posted here in the bug thread. Anything I can do to help you find out the real problem?Originally Posted by Jorma
If you notice in the first video, the room complexity was maxed even tho there was nothing around (near the very end)
Also ok thanks for that info, it will be useful!
*Edit* When I get home tonight, I'll save the track as 'save as' so I can do some testing on video showing you. If I remove one object from far away I can place more. When I first found the problem, I removed the glass like I said earlier and then I could add more objects in the level.
I added in some annotation, maybe that will help?

GLITCH?
sometimes when i pause i can still ride, what is this?
Again, you are hitting the overall 1000 object (weighted) limit. This has nothing to do where you try to place the object. If you hit the limit, the room complexity goes full everywhere and you absolutely cannot add objects anywhere anymore.Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
The object limit message which you are missing only comes from the save dialog if your saved and packed track file size goes over the 8kb file size limit. Sometimes the 1000 object limit hits you before the file size goes beyond this limit. It is more probably to hit the object limit after the DLC release as many special objects in the DLC has bigger than 1 weight when counting towards this object limit.
Ok if this is the case then this is the first time I'm seeing it xD Thank you for your help Jorma! Just thought it was odd as every other time I was over the limit, I wasn't stopped from placing objects & I received the exceed object limit message. I think thats much better thing then placing 1,500 objects and not knowing you are over the limit. Was this added in the patch?Originally Posted by Jorma
Then I have one more question so I can know what I have to delete to make more room.....Ocean of fire are those more than 1 object?
As if I don't say it enough Jorma you rock!Redlynx provides awesome support for this community and its very much appreciated!
*Edit* I just re-read your post and now this totally makes sense. Having hit the 1,000 limit before the 8kb limit. I'll delete the cars in the intro.
I think its because you deleted all the wall blocks. That causes the track to run very slowly and it probably has an effect on the complexity meter. Its better to just delete wall blocks when you have to rather than having a gigantic room.Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
Edit: Would the wall blocks have an effect on the 1000 object limit?
Wall blocks aren't counted towards the object limit, but the room configuration affects the filesize somewhat as we have to save which blocks are open.
Is that for every block, or does some blocks not count into that? like the hollowed part of the level the editor loads
Every open block needs to be saved, but those are packed pretty well with RLE and additionally running the whole file through zip-stream. Because of the RLE, open areas are the best and checkerboard room configuration the worst case regarding file size. IIRC, the room configuration usually only takes around 200b of the file size, so this is very little compared to the whole track size (8kb).
Freeze bug.
I went to go save a track I was working on and my console froze. When I turned it back on, my track could not be opened. 6 hours of work down the drain, gotta start from scratch.
