Here's my solution then, add in a playlist option that will record individual track times and not just the overall tournament time. It would be nice to go from doing a hard or exteme course to a nice simple easy one to mix it up a bit instead of having to navigate the menu from hard down to easy.
Better yet a random track option where you could decide what levels of track it would select from, then after you've finished a track you can just get onto another one without having to go through the menus to get to them.

I just had my first crash that wasn't on the new Down the Stairs. I was playing the Proving Grounds tournament and I just finished Space Station, it crashed when loading Speed Trap and I had no faults yet. I hope that helps with your bug extermination.![]()
I can't really describe what type of problem this is.....but maybe you can shine some light. Seems like a bug to me, has to do with room/level complexity I guess.
I'm in the process of creating a level called Burning Down. So far there isn't much to the level but I have a lot of metal plates/tile flooring making up different rooms in the building. I had quiet a few ocean fires (took some out helped a little not much, and removing a ton of glass from windows I had in the front of the building; 5 windows, 12 panes of glass each) and my track template is ~5x2x70 long all open room; I don't know if this is a problemfilled in some of the blocks and that didn't seem to help). After I removed the glass panes and another wall which had the steel wall decoration I was able to place alot more objects. As well as removing some flooring and using the room blocks instead. I will post a video from editor mode, maybe you can see something. This really makes no sense cause I didn't receive the 'too many objects limit' message.

There is a maximum object limit for a track. This is set as 1000 and some larger physics or graphics heavy objects can take several slots from this limit. For example, the full car is counted as 10 objects.
Right.....I know there is a limit Jorma and the message usually pops up saying that you exceed the limit. The first video shows that this message didn't pop up. Also, even if I DID hit the limit, the game still allows you to place objects. I wasn't able to place a single object even when nothing was around it.Originally Posted by Jorma

But that is good to know with the cars, I will remove them and see if I can place more objects for my finish
Side note. Do 8m triggers take more of the limit like the cars than 2m or 4m triggers?

I did watch your video. You tried to put 5 objects at the same time to the track and this was over the limit and then you tried to add one object which just fit the limit. You managed to save the track as it wasn't over 8 kb in size.
8m trigger is the same as 2m trigger when it comes to complexity so they only have a weight of one. It is only the bigger special objects like cars (which is actually a composite of 10 objects: tires, hood, etc.) or animation heavy objects like thrusters that take the place of several objects.
