Couldn't you use two force rotation hinges to move two tires that have a plank bridge thing around it?

It makes sense to me, might not to you.

    Re: conveyor

I made a sketchy one in my 'Eliminator' track:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCP2Rfth0LE

I used a force rotation to spin a log at the bottom and one at the top, then wrapped the arrow signs around it using free rotation hinges.

It was still too floppy so I added some logs in the middle to keep it from sagging, and then added another log at each of the ends to keep the signs moving good, the logs at either end were really close together so they would basically suck the signs in and spit them out to keep it moving.

^^^ this. variation on the tires/planks to make it though, concrete cylinders and signs is good
