UltimateSnag Tracks - NOW 2 UP, 3RD COMING SOON
Hey guys!
Finally sat down and tried to create a course, avoiding the easy option of creating an insanely hard track, and decided to try an easy level but most importantly make it FUN TO PLAY!!!
After 2 hours, I have a short (20-25s) level but i could use a few opinions on it!!
Not gone down the physics route, it's a straight multi-path racer, and was fun to make so unless people think it sucks horribly I'll try making another tomorrow

Re: UltimateSnag : 'Flo' - 1st effort be gentle :)
It's my kind of track. Realistic look, no-nonsense obstacles, easy to do but hard to master.
(Not saying that I can't appreciate harder tracks as well.)
First jump is a good challenge, also keeping the speed on the following platforms.
What I didn't like:
Noticeable framedrop on big ramp downwards (when hitting it full speed).
Sometimes view completely blocked by big explosion on upward ramp that follows.
Best time so far is 22.0 btw.

Re: UltimateSnag : 'Flo' - 1st effort be gentle :)
Just gave your second track 'SOREN' a try.
Must say that's some pretty clever track design
Still I like your first track better I think. Reasons:
- In the first part the fast path is quite obvious and not hard to do.
- Getting a platinum time is not a question of riding skills, but of "figuring it out". The platinum path is the easiest path. Once I got it I beat platinum by 0.5 and I'm hardly a good rider. Because of this, replay value is limited I think.
- Fastest path relies on glitch.
Please take my criticism as a sign of appreciation. You've obviously got talent and imagination and build tracks I could never dream of building. I wouldn't bother criticizing if I didn't think it might help you build even better tracks.
