Does this make anyone else drained? I can't imagine how bad the other marathon was, but this one is still insane, but I know I have a chance, so I can't stop playing till I do it, but have had to come away after 6 hours of faults yesterday and 8 today!
I just mess up so randomly, I hate with a passion The Mother Of All Jumps, and it's supposed to be an easy track? should be medium! I always mess up, so spent most of these hours playing tracks 1 - 3 over and over. Then I mess up randomly on Underground or Jolly Jumper, twice in this time I made it to Groundhog Returns, only to fault there in the same place! I have a migraine, I am totally drained my back is killing me, and my neck is killing me!! my neck? what's all that about!?!
Anyways, I will have a couple of attempts tomorrow, maybe Boxing Day, but for now I have had enough, it is making me Ill!!! lmao
The best advice to give is to already know exactly what you want to do on every course before you even start the UE. You just have to figure out the safest route throughout every course. Don't be afraid to back up or go extremely slow. Time isn't too big of a deal even unless you want platinum. And even then it isn't TOO difficult to get. I was able to get 0 faults on the first UE only because of a lot of practice and memorization. If there is a part that seems to trip you up each time then go learn a new method of doing it.
I'm guessing that you mess up on the descending platforms part in the Mother of All Jumps? I usually hit the jump before it at a decently fast speed, but not as fast as I can. I land on the first platform and then slowly go to each one after that until I reach the bottom.
I always go under.. it's much safer for me.Originally Posted by HoorayItsMike

I almost faulted on basic bumps lmao, so nerve wracking.
lol the new marathon is really easy, faulted on the first try then got the chievy on my second! nothing compared to what it was imo, glad they gave me a chance to get it tho
I dont care for gamerpoints but 40G really is nothing for all that work. In the time it takes you to do a faultless UE you can complete the storyline on GTAIV lost and damned for 50 or 100G, cant remember which.
