idk with the lighting....but I'm pretty sure you have to remove all the blocks behind the camera so its far away from the driving line.

Ambiance(sp?) color needs to be black I think.

I was inspired by Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee to make a level like that except with a blue background and more rocky terrain. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqee8...eature=related Skip to about half way to see what I'm talking about.

After figuring out how much work it would be with the cameras set back and horizontal and trying to get the colors just right for the perfectionist in me, I dropped the idea.

As far as the color sliders, I think it's all or none for the bars because you're going for extremes in all the areas.

yeah he started it on TRIALS HD but he is never online anymore so remove some blocks turn the dust up more than half way and choose color and ambient color darkness down the whole way then place camaras the distance you want to view your rider from and build track very simple

It would seem to be this simple, but i'm trying one right now and i can get my camera angles to looks somewhat similar. However, when I go to compare mine to the one in the DLC, it feels like they only used one camera that's fixed to the driver/drive line and moves accordingly. It doesn't waver in the slightest bit even once the entire track. I can't figure that out.

Even when you start 1 Bit Trip the camera is locked in place. It doesn't turn and pan in on the driver like every other map. Even my attempt at it does it even though the camera is set far back and it's 100% perpendicular to the drive line.

The camera is the only thing holding me back from wanting to complete it.

I had same trouble with camera the devs must have a way of locking camera. i went a bit mad with cameras to get it smooth ( about 10-12 cameras per room block) but im having difficulty getting rid of the fuzzy picture caused by the dust. my track is called - bandit 1 byte tripe - if you want to check it out

Can the game devs please spill the beans on how they made the camera angle to be locked and static? Please?! Designing 1-bit-trip styled maps is a lot of fun, but the wonky and unreliable cameras really put a damper on it.

I'm not really a 1 bit trip fan, but I decided to have a look at this topic anyways.

I can get everything except the camera angle at the start to look like it does in 1 bit trip. I can post an HD video of all that if you'd like. I'll keep playing with the camera at the start, but as of right now, I have no idea how they got it to be static at the start.

I believe that 1 bit trip was created by KatamariUK who posts on this board. Maybe someone could send them a private message asking how the camera angle at the start was achieved.

    EDIT:

I'm getting pretty close to getting the camera static at the start. It no longer swings from one side at startup, and i'm trying to hone the vertical movement right now. Will post an update if I can get it to work.

    EDIT 2:

The default camera still seems to apply to the track even after tackling the horizontal and the vertical. The Z axis moves at the start of the track, I believe due to the default startup camera still existing.

    EDIT 3:

As you continue to add cameras to the right, this causes the swing of the initial camera angle. I kind of understand why this happens, and I don't think you can fix it.
