They both ARE real Stanley boxes i ordered from: http://ryderbox.co.uk

So they are exact same boxes. Not faked. Remember to keep them. Its good story
Boxwinners: you should watch the documentary. Its kinda funny, these boxes where custom made for Stanley Kubrick by ryder en co. He wanted a box with a lid that was not too tight, not too loose but JUST PERFECT. Later, back at Kubricks house, they found an internal memo from the company inside one of the boxes. They must have forgotten to take it out. It read: 'fussy customer, make sure the lid slides of properly'.

Welcome Arete and very cool you spotted that extra space none of us had, confirming e.

Theses boxes, one takes us to J J Abrams and one Stanley Kubrick...are these guys pieces of the puzzle or further clues to explore is what I'm wondering. Not watched my documentary yet but looking forward to it when I get time a little later.

Things are looking very good on the progress front and I'm filled with enthusiasm right now

    Easter Eggs

I'm happy that e has been found, as ANBA has been hinting, and
Flat out saying, that e is in the riddle and hasn't been found yet.

    Good job article linked people.

Edit: I would update the wiki, but my pc is down.

Ok I've watched that documentary now. Very interesting and illustrates the fine line between obsession and perfectionism brilliantly. Had a big smile on my face when I finally spotted the SKA-788 box being moved from Kubrick's house and sitting on the back of a car.

I find myself at a loss as to how these 2 boxes/movie directors fit into this at the moment though. Maybe it's films they've made or maybe it's something in their background/education they have in common?

The week off seems to have gone out the window and I'm going to try and pursue this for a bit. Killing me that I've become obsessed with something that goes over my head half the time even when it's been explained...derp.

Thats a good summary you gave there. Im also clueless as to how the boxes fit into the riddle. I noticed Commercial road is in the panorama that Kubrick ordered to make, Fliptaco has a panorama of commercial street (They are not the same, could be just an easy to make mistake).

Im gona slowly read trought he entire riddle again now, maybe watch the documentary one more time later...

Yeah it's just a mistake Kobe, Commercial Street is the name. I believe the panorama was just to further the link to Kubrick and holds no further relevance ( just my belief so far ).

Funnily enough in my brief research on Kubrick so far I came up with this funny coincidence. We'd already ruled out the Jack the Ripper lead but in Kubricks movie Dr Strangelove there is a character called General Jack D Ripper lol.

Using a diamond sword would be more effective since swords are built for killing mobs and critters

We need to not get off topic in here.. but I so want to join in on the Minecraft talk.. I posted about MC a while back in here. I might bump that as there are a few new players.

Ive been playing since the Alpha days and it is so much fun. I even run a small server for multiplayer with a few people.

Good times. I have made a MC skin that is the trials rider and I use that always.. it is in the other post.
