Was e3 and missed these updates.

1)asking jj about ridle. Well heck! If someone points this info to him i would be amazed IF he dont know what is the second box!

Ok I was going to wait till I coukd get to a decent PC ( you guys wouldn't believe how limited my hardware is ) tomorrow to search how to contact Abrams. This info from Anba confirms it was a good idea though, so if anyone else wants to try please feel free.

Even identifying the box would put me over the moon and may well be the piece that starts linking everything together.

Still waiting to hear back from my journo friend.

I wouldnt know how to get started on contacting someone like JJ. Abram. I did find many fanpages, some of them dedicated to solving the riddles/theories/hidden messages within lost, alias, cloverfield... Maybe these guys can help us out

I haven't a clue how to contact him either Kobe lol, was going to search Twitter, FB etc tomorrow and still will if nobody else manages to do it first. I'd guess his fansites are also a good place to ask unless Anbas reference was in relation to the Wired mag Abrams edited rather than something he'd recognize from his own work.

And maybe Anba wasnt refering to either of them JJ Abrams is someone who loves mysteries: maybe thats all it takes to recognize the second box.

Fair and valid point. I'm going to work on the theory that this box is related to Abrams in some way for the time being though. If it was just mystery related I'd not expect shocked to be the reaction Anba would have if he didn't recognise it. Well, unless it's something very well known that none of us have ever seen...which seems doubtful to me.

Basing some of this on my gut feeling and assumptions about Anba so not stating anything conclusive obviously.

Just read an article in Wired regarding the marketing done for Abrams movie Super 8. Wired amongst others received a package containing an old Kodachrome 40 Super 8 box containg a roll of film, a thumb drive and a card with a website and a code.

My gut likes this lol. Obviously this is too recent to have anything to do with the Trials riddle but if this is how Abrams has marketed stuff in the past then Kobes idea about fansites must yield an answer.

I couldn't help but notice that it says that there was a shaft in a pyramid that pointed towards Orion, and that it also believed that it was an escape route for the souls of the dead... sound familiar?

Perhaps we've been looking at this particular easter egg the wrong way. I found a website on the topic of the Giza Pyramids and Orion that has a bit of additional information on the subject
