    Re: Easter Eggs

    The first is;

    bd 07 in Hex
    189 7 in DEC/Char

    The second is;

    9e 2d in Hex
    158 45 in DEC/Char

    I think.

There are a few small problems with just solving this. What measurement do we use? What is the start point? Does the MAP that we have show a starting point?

My head is too foggy to be of much help today.

Edit: The numbers are too high to be Latitude and Longitude.

I don't think this relates to coordinates on earth. I actually think it is celestial coordinates.Other than that they may be coordinate systems no longer used that were around in the 1500's when the diabolic map was written...

I can't fugure it out just yet, but..

    Line 1:
    1011110100111

    Binary to decimal
    6055

    Cant convert to ASCII

    Hex
    17A7

    Line 2:
    10011110101101

    Binary to decimal
    10157

    Cant convert to ASCII

    Hex
    27AD

I can't find any measurement system that uses these figures and im not even sure my binary conversion is correct but this is where i got to so far.

I converted the numbers using this

'Can you hear all those birds flying overhead?' We were both in the hut, couldn't see what was going on outside. Suddenly, I got shoved again, this time so hard I fell into the fire. I got scared.

Google is telling me that you're pointing us towards the Tunguska Event. Could this be where the coordinates point to?

If it is, then it looks like we've got more work to do to find out what it relates to. To the Wikipedia article!

Damn it. I got the coordinates for a place in Russia last night. I thought I was wrong. Damn.

Seriously ANBA how are we supposed to figure this out without clues... you are a strange and twiested man!

    OK:

Binary to decimal (decimal used primarily because the numbers are prefixed with a '10' and this is also the method used in the 42 puzzle to decipher binary code)

    Line 1:
    1011110100111

    Binary to decimal
    6055

    Line 2:
    10011110101101

    Binary to decimal
    10157

    Converted using http://easycalculation.com/binary-converter.php

    Then go to:
    http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/bickel/DDDMMSS-decimal.html

    Long 60.55
    Lat 101.57

    Converts to

    60° 32' 59.9994", 101° 34' 11.9994"

which is a location in the middle of Russia.

I have investigated the Tunguska event and i have found this site for the approximate epicentre of the event.

    http://toolserver.org/~geohack/geoha...N_101_53_40_E_

You will notice that the coordinates for this location are:

    60° 53? 9? N, 101° 53? 40? E

Pretty close to the ones we have which suggests that this is what the clues are pointing to. I am dissapointed that i actually found these coordinates yesterday but couldn't make the connetion and got sidetracked!!!

Anyway, will have to update the wiki later. ANBA... are we right?

Yes it's true; I know the secret of Trials HD.

Antti and I had lunch in a quiet, Helsinki restaurant - the name of which will have to remain undisclosed, unless anyone gets the idea of questioning our waitress. However it seems unlikely she was aware of the revelation that was about to be unfurled. I, however, was on the edge of my seat.

Antti came prepared. He removed a folder from his briefcase, and spread out across the table about a dozen pages covered with fine print and blurry pictures. For half an hour he spoke, and as we dined on a fine meal of cabbage leaves and sausage soup, mysteries became plain, cryptic riddles untangled.

On each page, in each picture revealed, was one of the clues to the riddle hidden within Trials HD. Most of these clues have already been found. Perhaps a few have not. For example, what does that gold plate and Da Vinci's notebooks have in common? It makes sense, and I like it.

    More I cannot say.

I can say this though - yes, there is a real answer to the riddle, an end to the thread woven throughout the game. It is no trick, nor is it a joke, but the answer is as unexpected as it is profound.
Good luck on your quest, riders.
