Easy mate. I don't mean that we couldn't solve it now, just that seeing as we hadn't solved it already that he may have decided to push it some more in Evo. We all know the squizzers are there so I'm thinking more important riddle related stuff will be as well. EDIT: Unless he's decided to set us another riddle! Oh god no!!Originally Posted by FatShady
I've not played with this idea yet but I was looking at the secrets wiki recently and if you look at the non dlc levels they look like they are in a pattern. Could this be translated into something else? Binary perhaps? Also with final flashback being the only big pack level without an egg could it be more important than we realise?
I'll be honest. Helping to solve this riddle is the sole reason I joined the forums.
...Having nothing to add (or better put, having difficulty wording my contributions) has kept me quiet. Mostly.
I have to say that what wmgeek proposed is interesting. I would say not correct, but still, each persons guess has the potential to spark ideas in another. Something wmgeek said made me think the answer could be along the lines of "Make your thoughts a reality" when he (presuming) mentioned how there seemed to be a lot of books turned into movies. I realize that doesn't involve all the clues exclusively. That seems to be a recurring problem. When you think you have the answer to everything, there always seems to be something to throw you off.
That reminds me of something I really enjoy about life. When you try to classify things, like fruits and vegetables, there comes along something like the tomato. Take the duck billed platypus, a mammal that lays eggs. So many times watching documentaries I hear things like "This is the only bird that does this" and "No where else in the world does this happen." I like the defying of constants.
I seem to be rambling, I've considered the answer to be so many things I can't even share them all. What stands out the most is how appreciative I am of the riddle itself. It has taken a group of people with a similar interest and made a subtle attempt at expanding our knowledge and sending us deeper into a seemingly bottomless rabbit hole. And the journey is self inflicted. Completely optional. I had heard of Coral Castle before, but now I know so much more. Just reading Leedskalnin's Magnetic Current without doing any of the exercises helped me understand so much more about the earth and magnetism. My mind was blown.
And about Leedskalnin, I know that ANBA dropped in a photo of him, but why? What is his connection? I've read the threadthink twice) and don't think I understand the connection there. Is it just... things we as a human civilization should be learning. Stuff we should all know to make this world a better place? Elements in the recipe for a utopian society?

I feel there is just so much information to sift through, and some great points have been made. One thing I would like to see is a list of tracks and their matching platinum phrases. As I just admitted in a separate thread, I have only one racing track platinum. The other list available on the forums has been "pre-solved" concerning the meanings and the format is ... well tricky to say the least.
I've seen the wiki, and it's great. The addition of plat-phrases is all I request. At least the tracks that have confirmed eggs. I strongly feel they hold a "key" to the puzzle.
Okay that's all I can say for now. I'm not sure I even made much of a contribution, but there it is. Add another dedicated fan to the thinktank.
I liked your post and am glad you joined in. I've always enjoyed the riddle even though it's consumed huge hours and driven me crazy. I think you sum up the journey nicely actually even if we are no closer to an answer??

We hypothesized that the answer could probably not be the most important part, and, the main interest of it is to bring people together and make them "looking in the same direction"
En substance, but It's just an hypothesis
Totally agree. It's the journey for knowledge that has been the important aspect of the riddle for me. When I look back (if this ever gets solved) I won't be remembering the answer thinking "Hey the was a good answer!" I'll be thinking "I'm glad I got involved because I got to learn about many new things that I may not have discovered otherwise. The riddle can mean what it wants, but at the end of the day, it will always be about discovery for me.Originally Posted by Raposa

I've been following this thread for a long time and I really wish I had something more to add but I'm afraid this riddle is just too cryptic for me. I think you'll all agree though that chasing up all these clues has been quite a journey and we're all better for having done it. I've spent the best part of my afternoon reading this entire thread from start to finish and was amazed to see that Mark Serrels from Kotaku Au was enlisted to help spread the word. In a rather bizarre coincidence I've known him for about 25 years and we lived 1 street apart when we were kids and hung out together until he emigrated to Australia. Anyway, I digress. Best of luck to you all and if anything occurs to me regarding this most fiendish of puzzles I'll be sure to jot my ideas down and submit them for your approval.
Love you too darlin'!Originally Posted by JoeRegular![]()
Here you go, the trackname easter eggs. It also explains the link to Leedskalnin via the track 'upwardly mobile'.Originally Posted by IFTHISTHENTHAT
