    Re: Trials HD Easter Eggs

Well I just read through all 47 pages of this thread over the last couple of days and although a lot to take in, it's got me really interested.
I'm amazed at whats been discovered already. I doubt i'll have any luck but am going to do some research whilst waiting for evo to be released.

Just had a thought about the number 42 and the DNA. these could both be pointing towards Douglas Adams since his middle name is Noel, making his initials DNA, and the obvious connection to 42. Can't remember if this was mentioned previously or not. seems to me that since JJ Abrams and Stanley Kubrick are answers to some of the clues Douglas Adams could be also.

Pretty much every egg I can think of right now can be brought up to be a movie reference. Could all the Da Vinci stuff be referring to the book that lead to the movie. "Croatoan" has also been referenced by Stephen King. Theme seems to suggest books being adapted to movies. Still a complete guess though

yupan holds the answer to a splicing, the legacy to discovor?

yea i typed yupan and a splicing in on google. then came up with that(note how its in chronological order)...
not bad for my 1st try at properly trying to help ehh? i haven read any thing else to do with that vid so i dont know if that kinda thing has come up yet.

Just looked over a few of the clues again...and was playing with dates and number...

...and i realised we have to number clues, with no definitive answer to them...

    42 and 1452...

...I figured we've had 2 seperate easter eggs come together to form a whole clue before...so..

...on a whim I googled 421452...and found this

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene/421452

...a dna protein marker with rna... I seem to remember ANBA mentioning pre dna based life and rna structures previously...

...this particular protein marker is also found in chimpanzees and other animals...

    Re: Trials HD Easter Eggs

So i was sitting on the computer the other day while my wife watched "contagion" and they mentioned bird flu...and an idea spawned...

...firstly the mention of birdflu reminded me that when i search 421452, a few of the search results lead to Gallus Gallus which is basically a chinese chicken, which some believe is linked to bird flu...this lead to a few linking of clues...

Firstly - the tunguska event, the wooly mammoth, JJ Abrams box and the lascaux caves

Secondly - the fibonacci pattern, the constant e, leo's flapping wing design, de divina proportione, croatoan, darwins tree of life, piri reis map

Thirdly - kubricks box, 42, 1452, voyager golden records, orion...

Lastly ANBA has stated that the riddle is not about evolution per se...but evolution of some kind does factor...

...so here's my thought the riddle is about the growth of human knowledge...more precisely how tragedy spurs on the growth of knowledge...

...okay so the first group of clues tunguska and JJ abrams are links to meteor's hitting earth (abrams through armageddon), an extinction level event occured in the past which wiped out most previous life forms and allowed man to evolve - the wooly mammoth and caves

...the second group of clues leads us to the renaissance...and the black plague...historians have theorised that the plague indirectly lead to the renaissance...the decimation of the population, the redistribution of wealth, the education of some of the lower classes...it light the fire under us which forced us out of the dark ages and into the renaissance and age of exploration...it also gave us darwins theory of natural selection which can be applied to knowledge as well as physical evolution, if you cant learn and adapt you wont survive...

....thirdly...kubriks box = dr strangelove....451452 = chinese chickens = bird flu...in the 20th and 21st centuries the calamities befalling humans a war (nuclear bombs)...and pandemics...spurring our knowledge onwards and upwards to the stars...many of nasa's early rockets came from a nazi scientists designs....

...the dna signs can fit into all three as it's about humans overcoming tragedy and adversity...learning and moving on...

    ...just a thought...

Nice sleuthing, geek! Wonder if ANBA will chime in on this most interesting theory.

    Wow wmgeek, nice work.
Even if that's not the answer it's still a very useful and interesting theory.
Can't wait to hear ANBA's reply
