didnt you mean to order this one: http://www.amazon.com/Not-Design-Uni.../dp/0879754516 The last chapter sounds interesting: 'We will become God".Originally Posted by ANBA
"This book begins with a discussion of the meaning of order and examples of orderly patterns generated by chance. (Play enough poker hands, Stenger writes, and one day you will be dealt four aces.) Subsequent chapters introduce readers to the unique perspective of the universe provided by physics, with historical and philosophical material intertwined with a systematic but non-technical presentation of basic physics. This leads to a description of the basic structure of the universe and the way in which symmetries of space, time, and inner dimensions account for the "laws" obeyed by particles. The origin of the universe is then described as a chance event, with space, time, matter, and the laws of nature the result of a spontaneous process of symmetry-breaking. Focusing on the question of planned versus unplanned origin, Stenger shows that the issue is not philosophical but scientific and that order can and does happen every day - by chance."
Im stuck for now, getting late and no more pdf versions to find online. Of to the library tomorrow.

So... I am having great difficulty trying to find eVersions of the books in ANBA's books shelf... i have found an audio book for Zero... but thats about it...
however... when looking into some of the authors and subject material and ideas... they seem to be questioning man's origins... not necessarily the fact that we evolved on earth... more the fact that our recorded history has been vastly edited with large sections forgotten... some talk about a global civilisation which was lost, i had heard about this theory years ago as the latest incarnation of the atlantis myth...
Hi all
Does anyone think that the Mars meteorite seeding theory is applicable?
It doesn't seem like the final answer but it does seem to correlate with where we've been going with the riddle.
In the next post I'll provide a link that will give you an idea of what the theory is about.
