Not sure if anyone knew this, but the way the level looks in (1bit) is how they used to make the levels in the early web game of trials (when they used to have the snowman level) I remember downloading it in 03 and using paint to add the colors black or green. Green was solid and black was freespace. then putting a picture over it. Been in love with this game ever since.

yep... your right. it was gif image where black was empty and green ground. Also white markers pointed the checkpoint locations.
