do you know if there will be a promotional pack with Trials HD + DLC between Christmas and the New Year ?
One of my friends would like to buy the both after Christmas (and also after he gets back his console because it gets RROD).
I doubt that a pack will be release soon but you never know !
I doubt it. That usually only happens to AAA retail games like Fallout 3. They get like a game of the year edition with all DLC included. But thats only after the games been out a long time. Trials eventhough its better than most retail games just came out in August. Your friends gonna have to pay the full $20. Its worth it. The DLC is sooo cheap at $5 plus $15 for an amazing game.
I know it's cheap, Trials HD has an incredible lifetime.
But Major Nelson says there will be some promotions for Christmas.
For exemple, Shadow Complex came out in august too, but there was a promotion of a day during which the game is past from 1200PT to 800pts.
That's why I would like to know if there's any rumor of that
I didn't say that the game needs a promotion because it's too expensive. No way, this is a very excellent game and it really worth its 1200pts + 400 pts for the DLC, but if there is a promotion for the Christmas period (because there is some promotions planned for this period), I'm pretty sure that some of my friends will buy this amazing game.
Theres a promotion everyday for xmas.
Worms 2 was 400 yesterday and there is a Free theme today so there is a slim chance on one of the day's.

It's a game that's constantly interrupting the gameplay.
I mean how often do I want to see my Avatar's emotions after each round? Why do I want to see my Avatar's reaction anyway? Imagine having to look at your avatar after each fault in Trials. I have my own feelings about that
Why is the camera zooming all over the place all the time?
Why is the game constantly taking away the control over camera and blocking control over the worm?
Why can't I turn those stupid comments off? How funny are "welcome to the cheese house" or "to cheese or not to cheese" if you've heard it 1000 times?
How much funnier does the game get if you add more and more weapons?
I could go on and on...
If they only kept the whole thing simple and fun...

Its true theres promotions up to the new year but I could only see them discounting HD itself if anything. Theres no way they would discount DLC that releases the 23rd. Right now the deal is Avatar Golf so as usual I wouldn't count on every deal being exciting. And for the record Worms is annoying

I haven't seen discounts on games that still are selling well. For example Castle Crashers has always been in top 10 most sold games, and it has never been discounted yet. It's already over 1.5 years old game. Trials HD has been on top 3 most sold games every week, so I don't see any discounts soon.Originally Posted by billymagnum
