    Pointless, Stupidly hard trax

Can sum1 please explain to me wot is happening, it seems like everybody creating tracks is in competition to see who can make theirs the hardest, now don't get me wrong, i'm all for a challenge but what ever happened to flow in a track and not just a bunch of obstacles thrown together. I'm not being funny but not all of us are at lestropie or redriders standard. We should be able to complete a track without too much difficulty and then have to work hard to get gold or plat but when it comes to custom tracks this is not the case. I know sum ppl love the extreme challenge and Skumbag definetly caters for those ppl but how about the ppl that are trying to play the game for fun. And skumbag states that his trax are Ninja Difficulty but i've played sum trax that state they are easy, med but are far from it. i see everybody fooling around with physics but how about you try and create a track that is fun and can be completed because at the moment most tracks are not being created with gameplay in mind and it's getting frustrating i know i don't have to play custom tracks but c'mon now boys and girls put more gameplay in your tracks please.!!!!

    Re: Pointless, Stupidly hard trax

I have downloaded several tracks that say "beginner" difficulty, and it ends up that the level designer was just too lazy to put it in the proper expert category. I end up deleting a track when it takes more than 20 tries just to pass the first checkpoint. It seems like most of the medium difficulty tracks end up being hard/expert difficulty, too. I just rate my track difficulty relative to the in-game tracks. If it's difficult, but can still easily be completed with less than 15 faults, I call it hard.

Maybe you don't have the right persons in your friendlist.

I know some really nice track with a flow in mind

Here's some users who made that kind of tracks :
    - ahhme2
    - AkatsukiUK
    - DrittesAuge
    - some of HeetSauce
    - KatamariUK
    - some of L0RD Melchett
    - RedRider686 (Yes, he doesn't make insane tracks and he likes flow too)
    - some of mine MrZog95

And I'm sure I forgot many persons.
You see more ninja track than flowing track because I think it's easier to do
Making a flowing track needs so much hour of testing, it's really incredible.

There's many "beginner" track because it's the default difficulty.

Edit : Oh, and creators really needs feedback to make a track as fun as possible

I empathize with you....heres some suggestions off the top of my head.

Murdoch Loch has a begins/returns/forever set that's alot of fun, especially the middle one.

Lord Melchett has good flow tracks
AndyBMX has some easier physic tracks and a game where you push a ball to the finish thats pretty neat.
    MaximusTech has 4 fun ones.
    Paralyzers arent insanely difficult.
Zombiechow has one i like a lot too.

if you send me a friend request i can give you some good recommendations when i can look at my fl...i'm on gamescrubs and others friends list....i get around

    Re: Pointless, Stupidly hard trax

Sup 79, I actually after about 7 NINJA difficulty tracks made, ( Now have even more ) Started to realize that even i myself, Enjoy more , The HARD difficulty or EXTREME, Rather than the NINJA difficulty. But i also do once in a while enjoy a well put together NINJA difficulty track. Unfortunately, You have some people who determine difficulty based on there own skills, Or someone who, Like you stated, Is simply trying to have the hardest tracks available, But at the same time couldn't measure there own shoe laces, Let alone an advanced obstacle. The only way to create a truly technical NINJA difficulty map. Is to for one. At least be able to zero fault every EXTREME in game level, And at the same time understanding the physics of each maneuver required on the advanced stages. Hate it when someone just throws up a quick course. Without even properly measuring the obstacles. As far as my N word maps go, Not only do i provide properly distanced and tested obstacles, But i'll test each obstacle numerous times, As well as revolve the measurement of the obstacle around the traditional Trials technique, ( Not in the reverse ) Than i will construct a combination of moves like, Weight distribution, Wheelie, the brake hook, Ninja hooks, Endo's exc... But now placing them in a line that can be flawlessly executed, When using the proper move for each CP. ( And with each technique working without having to re adjust from CP position ) Along with making sure that there are SEVERAL hidden time savers as well. I test each obstacle at least 200 times ( Looking for ways to improve it, And add secret techniques ) And do not allow myself to move on to the next obstacle until i can hit the prior one at least 10 times in a row. So when anyone is ever stuck on anyone of these parts on my levels. Just picture me wit a fat blunt hangin outta my lips, Smoke in my eye, And me R@PIN that b!tch, OVER, AND OVER, AND..... you get the point. Make sure to play test more than you decorate. Priorities first. P.S. Stuck with no internet till tomorrow, But, I got some new NINJA tricks up my sleeve. And 36 CHAMBERS arrives for you all this Thursday. Ninja warriors, Prepare for battle

    Re: Pointless, Stupidly hard trax

I have only made 6 tracks and only shared them with a select few people but if anyone would like to try them out feel free to send me a freind request and you can get them off my file share.
As it is there are a couple of medium tracks, one extreme and the rest are hard but I spent a very long time making them play like the built in levels. I saw somewhere in another thread that one of the dev ( I think it was Jorma ) saying that most user levels are just sparse objects but I also went to lengths to make the level feel like a real area.
Anyways I'll stop rambling now and like I said, if you want to try them send me a FR.

    Hey nbw1979

It's unfortunate, but you are right, many people make tracks that are just too hard/no fun. I'm a fairly decent rider(somewhere in the top 50 Global), and I have found way too many tracks that fall into the category you are talking about.

If you want to try some good simple flow tracks, send me an FR.

My tracks are simple enough for anyone to play, but to get really good times on them, you need to be a good rider with good technique.

Archbiddy has some nice fun tracks also
Redrider loves flow tracks, and he makes some real good ones too

Those are just off the top of my head.

I have so many tracks, I can't remember all the good ones, I'd have to play them one by and rate them.
I started the process of listing all the tracks I have, but don't have ratings for them yet, it's a lot of work.

Anyway, good luck on your search for tracks!
