I'm not necessarily great at everything else in this game, but Hill Climb is definitely the only thing that I suck at. I've tried going fast, I've tried going slow.. I've tried duplicating what others have done (my friend managed to get into something like 700th place by holding down the trigger the entire way - how does that happen?), yet I still suck at Hill Climb.
Anyone have any tips for me to work with? I'm a fairly experienced rider, so any tips will be helpful.
Thanks!
Edit - I guess I never played this very much before, because I never remembered objects that felt down on to the track and hit you, or the planks that would fall out from under you as you were driving on them..
I found it a lot easier to use the 125cc bike.
If you watch the replays though, most use the phoenix bike. They get to a certain point then start holding the throttle halfway or so, then gun it when it is real steep. I could never replicate that success with the phoenix.
That's all I did to get to 100+ m.Originally Posted by jook13
Yeah, I got over 100 just leaning forward and full throttling the 125 cc bike.
Where do you start leaning forward with the 125cc? I can't even make it close to 80m with that bike and I've tried it a few times... I'm also unable to get it with the phoenix either.
