Trials HD patch (title update) will be released along the new Trials HD BIG PACK downloadable content pack. The patch is completely free for all players, and your Xbox will automatically download it when you start your game.

Key points:
+ Ultimate Endurance tournament has been made easier. The close to impossible Marathon achievement is now possible for much wider audience. New tournament has only beginner, easy and medium tracks.
+ Improved Down the Stairs skill game. The physics glitch all top players used is fixed and now the user has better control over the tumbling down rider.
+ Fixed the corrupted leaderboard scores found in some tracks (zero times, impossible scores). All leaderboards have been cleaned off corrupted scores and we have a system in place to keep them clean in the future as well.
+ Fixed a number of minor bugs reported by players and found by our testers. Now the game is even more polished and stable than before.
+ Due to huge demand, the amount of tracks users can save in their hard disks and memory cards is doubled.

Detailed fix list:
+ Fixed: Rare crash at game main loading screen
+ Fixed: Rare crash on track selector
+ Fixed: Synchronization issue on track selector preview image (wrong image shown occasionally)
+ Fixed: Rare bike disappearing bug (when game started very very quickly)
+ Fixed: Triggered physics objects disappearing in user created levels after checkpoint restart
+ Fixed: Crash bug in track sharing menu selection toggle (select/deselect spam)
+ Fixed: Offline profiles didn't see any downloaded user created tracks
+ Fixed: Crash when adding too many composite objects in editor
+ Fixed: Corrupted leaderboard data shown when opening leaderboards from track selector and returning
+ Fixed: Camera objects didn't refresh properly in the editor
+ Fixed: Light blockiness bug for spot lights
+ Fixed: Offline warning didn't work when logging in on all controllers
+ Fixed: Some minor text clipping bugs on Japanese/German
+ Leaderboards: Fixed all bugs that caused zero second racing track results and impossible high scores in skill games
+ Leaderboards: Leaderboards have been cleared of all corrupted results (described above). We now also have a system in place that allows us to remove all corrupted/cheated scores immediately.
+ Leaderboards: Fixed down the stairs physics exploit. All new scores will be placed above the old scores.
+ Improvement: Doubled the amount of user created tracks supported by the game (total now 600)
+ Improvement: Ultimate Endurance tournament now contains 20 beginner/easy/medium tracks. No hard tracks at all. Makes Marathon achievement much more accessible to majority of players.
+ Improvement: The rider no longer goes unconscious after first hit in Down the Stairs game mode. Now you have much more control over your total score.
+ Improvement: Lots of improvements for DLC support. The game now can load more and bigger packs.

i know the BIG pack isn't out yet, but this gets me excited for even more future DLC!!!!

can't wait to see the comments from the players who've got the Endurance achievement. gonna be interesting to see which way it goes, considering the speculation was about re-ordering the tracks. but it opens it up for me to get it now, so i'm happy

It's impossible to make a change for the better without angering somebody in the process. In RedLynx's situation, it would be better to make everybody else happier by making the achievement easier and upsetting some of those who've gotten it, or they could leave it alone to respect the less than 50 people who've already gotten it and keep a good number of their players pissed because the achievement is ridiculously hard to earn for only 40 GS.

On a side note, woot for the blocky lighting fix ^_^

The Ultimate Endurance tournament was changed both because it was harder than expected (only 0.05% of players got the Marathon achievement) and because it made World Championship tournament obsolete. Originally the Ultimate Endurance was designed to be all about constant performance. It was not meant to be super difficult at the same time. However somehow the result wasn't exactly like we hoped.

The current (old) Ultimate Endurance is basically World Championship with some easier tracks thrown in as fillers. After the patch both tournaments are really separate and fullfill different needs: World Championship is a 10 track hard challenge, that requires high precision thoughout the tournament. The new Ultimate Endurance is a tournament that requires you to be able to constantly play on your speed limit. You have to be constantly fast in every beginner/easy/medium track and optimize your performance in order to survive in the new Ultimate Endurance tournament leaderboards.

Basically:
World Championship: 10 tracks filled with high precision riding
Ultimate Endurance: 20 tracks filled with super high speed optimized riding

Both tournaments now fill different needs and require different skill sets to master.

I still have a question. What is happening to the old World Championship and Ultimate Endurance Leaderboards if they are being changed now?

All that work for 0 faults on both and I dont want to see my times just disappear.

World Championship stays intact. Only Ultimate Endurance is changed. Your old record will remain in the Ultimate Endurance leaderboard if you do not wish to improve your time.

I don't know if I missed it, but is there a fix for the crashing replays thing?? It only happens sometimes to me now on certain tracks but always on Classic. Its no biggie, just curious thats all.

How is an achievement diminished? If anything its less diminished now that its more obtainable by people like me who can't rip through it like its their day job. I'll take it!
