Now I have my new graphics card (HD5970) trials 2 updates at 1500 frames per second!!!!!

But you're running it on low
So that doesn't really count...but still a very nice number, I think I get 800 on low with my 8800GTS.

is that even possible to see? Id image once you get to a certain amount of frames per second the human can't tell a difference if you add more? Just guessing but thats pretty funny

Got a brand new HD 5850 here, and ladder madness start runs at 1200 fps

But most LCD monitors output only 60 frames per second (60 hz refresh rate), so going above that doesn't help at all.

LoL at that, so in essence your video card is using quite a lot of power for a simple game.

i get 1100 - 1200 fps on 2 gtx 280's on 1920x1200 on very low settings lol, but it makes my psu squeel because the cards run way to fast, drawing to much power.
