    BlackSunRa's tracks

I just finished my fourth track. I tend often to create more kind of puzzle than purely skill oriented obstacles. These are all pretty much of medium to hard difficulty. I'm afraid I'm not a very good player so the medal times aren't that specific or in some cases to set at all. You can send me recomendations of espically gold and platinium times.

I have some pics but for some reason am not allowed to post them.

    Stones'n'Poles
Quite playable basic track with couple ideas of my own.

    Bulletproof
Lot's of glass obstacles and surfaces with gliding sledge ride final.

    Steelhelmet
Iron balls, explosive hazards and high terace structure with zig-zag upward path in the end.

    Terace Tour
Fast paced obstacle course with lot's of moving parts and another big terace structure in the end but this time zig-zaging down.

    Feedback as promised:

I liked playing these tracks more than I thought I would. It almost felt like I wasn't playing Trials, but some weird puzzle-platformer and it was actually quite fun.
Not the kind of tracks you'll be playing over and over again to get better times but I guess these tracks weren't even designed to be competed on.

Thanks for feedback. I just finished my fifth track Rolling Thunder and tried to create this time some shortcuts and obstacles which can be cleared faster with better technique to make it more interesting for competition. The problem is that I'm not a very good player and there are sequences so complex (because of physics objects and explosives) that I'm not sure they can be mastered for consistant passing. Naturally I haven't been able to set the medal times eiher so suggestions for those or any other feedback would be very welcome. I hit the object limit and had to remome much of the decoration so the track is a bit grimm.

I just made another track. It's called Enter the Void after the new Gaspar Noé movie. I left some parts pretty dark for athmosphere and to make couple easy sections more challenging. I hope they still work well, it's hard for me to tell because I know the track by heart, so feedback would be welcome.

    Re: BlackSunRa's tracks

The tracks were ok, some of the obstacles were set up a little bit awkward and at certain times i wasnt sure where to go. Like pahapertti said, theyre fun to play once or twice but they dont offer an incentive such as a competitive riding line for me to come back, beat my times. However i did like Terace Tour, its pretty creative.

Rolling Thunder-at the beginning, i get off the platform, ride the loop to trigger an opening but everytime i do that different things happens, like the falling platform will hit a nuke or just fall in front of me and i cant keep on riding.

Enter the Void- suggest adding wind force for the last loop, ive had trouble maintaing speed all the way to the top, maybe the other guys can do better on this one, i dont know.

Bulletproof- after riding the glass platforms, try adding a 'brake hook' sign because a first timer wouldnt know where to go and just ride down into the tnt boxes lol.

Stones'n'poles- this wasnt such a bad track, but near the end, the riding line was a little bit too close to the roof for me.

Thanks for feedback. Often when a obstacle is awkward you have to figure out an easy way to get pass but I suppose not all of them are that good. I kind of like that one has to figure out where to go next as my tracks aren't pure racing.

Terace Tour is my favourite too. Did you figure out easily how to get down from the boxes towards the end?

That's a bit problematic part but the idea is not to exit the loop the first time but kind leave yourself hanging by your back tire for a sec and then make another loop after the explosions have passed. Yes, sometimes the platform fails to perform and even get's stuck on your way. I actually spent hours on that part trying to fix it but the gravity effect on objects just seems to be too chaotic.

Enter the Void- suggest adding wind force for the last loop, ive had trouble maintaing speed all the way to the top, maybe the other guys can do better on this one, i dont know.
Doing a higher jump before going to loop helps to get momentum.

Stones'n'poles- this wasnt such a bad track, but near the end, the riding line was a little bit too close to the roof for me.
That was done on purpose to give it a feeling that one's really at the top now and also to make it a bit claustrophobic.
