what if you lost your tracks?
Like, what if your xbox got burned up in a house fire, or a flood, or tornado...lets just say a meteor hits your house and whips out everything...can i get my tracks back?

I have to say no BUT maybe. Tracks are only stored on storage devices they are not saved online like achievements and such. Its just like any other data you feel is important. Back it up at all costs. You may want to get a Datel memory card which uses a micro sd card. You can then copy the files onto your computer and store them there or on the internet/cd/dvd/usb/etc. Datel cards are being blocked by M$ with the new update BUT Datel just said they will fix the problem. Copy your tracks to a Xbox Memory Unit, and bury it in deep in your backyard. You can dig it up after the meteorite hit

If you hard drive has already been flambeed and doused with water then no, they're as good as gone. However, if you're still waiting to cook marshmallows with your favorite HDD at night time then it's always a good idea to keep backups on something small like a memory card and carry that in a little baggy around you neck wherever you go... or you could just keep it in whatever safe place you've got. Either way, there is no way of recovering them, only protecting them.
