I have managed to beat this track several times, but these cans are giving me a bit of trouble now, and I can't figure out how to approach them.
I've tried going across them slowly, I've tried going fast, I've tried a wheelie. It seems that anything I do now causes them to explode. I also had a look at several videos from the top players, but have been unable to replicate what they are doing.
Any tips anyone has for approaching this obstacle?
Thanks!
I had this problem lately as well. The best way I've done it is to go right to the edge of the platform before the barrels, make sure my riders standing in the middle and not leaning either way too much then accelerate but before I get onto the barrels I stop accelerating. The only problem with this is if your front wheel raises of the ground then drops it will explode the barrels.
I find the easiest way is to roll onto them and just do very small repeated gentle accelerator taps, works every time for me. Hope this helps.

If you're just aiming to get the track completed with minimal faults or no faults at all and not give a tiny rat's *** about the time then Hiquin's method is the best. It works 9 times out of 10 with the only exception being if you get just a bit hasty and the bike wobbles. Now if you want to go for the time then I recommend the same approach but the ramp leading up to the flat-area make yourself totally leant forward and then just floor it till your back wheel leaves the surface. With this method you are risking to make the barrels explode if your bike is at all shaking, but keep at it.
lol, its easy, either
1)gas right before them and dont hold anything while going over them
2) gas gently with the trigger sort of like on hillclimbing.
I've tried this, but the first can is always wobbling when i get there, and always explodes.Originally Posted by 420
I figured it out last night after about 50 runs through, and was going to post it here, but I see that billymagnum already reposted the leaning forward method. I managed gold, but I'm still about 14 seconds from platinum. I don't expect I'll see many platinum medals anyhow, but I'm not giving up.
Thanks again!
ya these barrels blow![]()
