I've landed a backflip over a transfer with a piece of barrel shrapnel through my torso, Blood squirtin out. And i just kept on ridin. Gangstered it. Eventually the piece vanished. ( I was hoping to finish the whole map like that )

For the longest while I never knew about pressing Y told hold onto things, but once I found out I tried to grab almost everything I could see lol. It's especially fun to use right at the beginning of Inferno II at the first pendulum haha! Great pics!
