So now that we know that a seemingly pretty big DLC pack is on the way, I was thinking it should have a different visual theme to bring some variation to the levels that we hardcore players keep on playing. But also to appease and "acquire" new players.
And in this period of the year, wouldn't TrialsHD: Christmas edition be a great theme?
I'm talking about something like Nights Into Dreams did some years ago...
We could have some levels with a coat of snow and some festive lights: (behold my great photoshop skillzz)
Some following santa's sleight through the night sky (like dreamscape track)... Traveling down a crazy chimney into the fireplace (inferno...
Others could be inside the gnomes Christmas toys factory (more like most current maps look like, except with gnomes, toys and Christmas decorations all over the place).
Even some minigame where you try to hit/destroy as many snowman as you could... Or one where you try to escape a crazy giant bloodthirsty snowman... Or another one where you try to drop presents into chimneys as fast as you can...
So, do you think the upcoming DLC pack should have a theme? If so, which one?

sounds like a great idea to me!
only bought the game last wednesday and have only had about 4 nights on it due to other commitments but i'd buy ANY dlc in a heartbeat.
maybe i'm missing something but i've looked and can't find out the release date for dlc. anyone got a clue when it's out?

Being born on XMas myself I say yes! But if you really want to "appease and acquire new players" you definitely need a Hanukkah and Kwanzaa levels
I still have that Christmas Nights Into Dreams cd! That was on a Gamefan magazine, if i recall correctly. Did they do just that disc or was there a full version?

Yes DLC is on its way.
No set release date yet.
A patch is coming too.
No release date for that either.
Yes a few obviously Satan-Worshiping Superman have the Marathon Achievement. Though the achievement WILL be altered when that patch arrives. Not sure exactly how but it apparently will make it easier to get, though probably not by much! You can find lots of info around here about all of this and more...
