i just got 1000 microsoft points

do i get a arcade game or do i wait for the dlc is there a expected release date for it ?

you will be so much happier if you just wait. Its not cool how MS makes you put points points in your account only to pressure you to spend them when theres some left over. I wait now.

Until Redlynx spill the beans, there's no way to know for sure. But if I had to guess, then yes, at least 3-4 weeks. For starters, there's no indication that the DLC has even been sent to certification, and that process alone will take some time (especially now during the busiest time of the year). And with the recent DLC poll, as well as them teasing with that it will have a lot of content, it's definitely not coming out in the next 1-2 weeks would be happy to be proven wrong though ).

So if you're sure to get more points (for the DLC), then go ahead, give yourself a little (XBLA) treat.

I did the same thing.. I bought a 1600 point card just so I had them when the DLC came out.. for some reason I think I have about 80 points left now.

I usually get a card every few weeks or so for the hell of it anyways so it's not that big of a deal. I'd much rather spend them on something I actually want though. coughtrialsdlccough

I bought two 4000 point cards for $60 (yes quite a deal ) probably about 9 months ago. I still have 3800 points left. In the past those points would be long gone. Wasted just because they were there. I have people on my friends list that are so bored they change their gamertags (800pts). I know it may be tough to look at your balance and the whole Ad filled dashboard and feel like you MUST buy something. I refuse to buy Avatar stuff or premium themes. Buying that stuff just ensures that they will always cost money and probably cost more as time goes by. Until its worth it. Just say no.

i bought 2000 points specifically for this game after stumbling into the demo of it last wednesday. never heard of it before but i was hooked straight off.

now i'm saving my remaining 800 points for this dlc that's coming.

how exciting
