WTF is wrong with "Smooth Jumps?"

Since last night everytime I try to play that track my game freezes right after the check point right before you hit the metal ramp section towards the end. Maybe it's just my game but it's really annoying me. So far it's the only tack I've noticed it on.. anyone else having this problem?

nope. I have never had Trials freeze EVER. Did this just start after they recent Xbox update the other day? Any other of your games acting funny too? If so could be an early sign of the mighty RROD.......

Yes actually it was after the ******** update for **** I don't even want! I wouldn't know if any of my other games were acting funny.. Trials is all I ever play [my woman didn't say she was having any problems]. I had my buddy play it and he said it was fine so I guess it's just me. I noticed after I posted that the top 3 in the leaderboards all have 0:00.00 times so I thought that may have something to do with it.. guess not. It probably is my piece of **** Xbox.. hopefully it makes it to November atleast when my new one comes in.

    Thanks for the input guys.

Updates NEVER cause the RROD. It's always just coincidence, people over at gameFAQS complained all about it for the longest time. It's just that the 360 has a high fail rate, so don't be too surprised if it gets the RROD, but also don't be expecting it. Just get off the xbox for a few hours and let it cool down then hop back on, and it should be fine.

Well that's not what I meant. I meant UPDATES have been know to cause problems with certain games by accident. The RROD thing was a separate diagnosis....

Did you start downloading a demo or something, then turned off the Xbox before it completed? If you do that, sometimes it corrupts the download and causes the system to freeze up during some games. If that's the case, it'll continue to lock up until you delete the corrupted partial file.

Thats a good idea.....maybe try deleting the game (not your saves tho )and re-downloading?

Im pretty sure that our save files are on redlynx servers , not our xbox . You could delete your game and reinstall it , all your times and medals are on the server

Custom tracks (including your best times on them) are stored on the HDD though.

To only delete the game, go to System Settings -> Memory -> Storage Device (your HDD where it's stored) -> Games -> Trials HD. Then select Trials HD and choose Delete.
