You simply can not patch the menu? Or at least have a confirmation screen pop up if you hit the back button? It is a pain imhoOriginally Posted by sebbbi
Sorry, we cannot do it. The game has been localized to almost 10 languages, and we do not have the localization team in place anymore. So no new text is possible to add in the fortcoming patch.Originally Posted by billymagnum
How about adding something like double-tap the back button to restart a tournament?
It would be really helpful while trying to zero-fault tournaments, it would be impossible to do by chance and there is no need for new text.
Sounds like a great idea! The two pushes could programmed to activate the restart only when pushed right after one another.Originally Posted by gioboom
Is it not just 3 clicks right now. Start => Exit Tournament and then A to restart it.Originally Posted by Brakara
Is it really necessary to patch something just for 1 click faster?
And since you maybe play a tournament a few minutes before you fault (in UE maybe 10 minutes) 1 click is like 1-2 seconds more. Shave off 1-2 seconds between 3-600 seconds of gameplay is in my opinion not much to hassle about.
In the forthcoming patch we are only fixing stability issues (console freeze) and important bugs (leaderboards/replays not showing correctly for all players, user created track menu sometimes losing all tracks, etc). We want to keep the risk of creating additional bugs as low as possible and we want to focus all the testing time for these much more important issues. The freeze issue on Pain! Again! skill game tought us a important lesson.
I think the best alternative to restart tournaments would have been to press Restart while holding Reset (B + Back) No need for a menu.
ive hit the restart button (<) a number of times unpurposely.
is button customization something youhave considered for the patch or is this impossible. or is it just me who suck?
