    No restart button in Tournaments

Seriously, who thought that was a good idea? I can understand that some people can get into the habit of hitting restart on every bail, but that's what you do when you want that platinum. Having to exit to restart is annoying.
There's not much wrong with the game, there's some annoying techno on the soundtrack, the 0 sec glitch board leaders... There was one other thing, but I can't remember.

Either way, could you please, please release a patch to add the restart button to tournaments. Not for the single race of course, but for the whole thing, or at least put it into the pause menu (without a confirm).

P.S.: I love that nearly unattainable achievement. Just makes me push harder.

I remember now the other issue: When I set new track records in tournaments they don't count. Why not? That's BS.

And the captcha is incredibly hard to read.

And another thing, the game doesn't store times when offline. I understand that it cannot upload them, but at least store them locally for the rider's sake.

The restart button was removed because you really really do not want to accidentally press it after you have played 20 tracks faultlessly. We are already receiving complaints from players about accidental fast restarts in single tracks without any confirm dialog. We think that fast restart in single tracks is so often used feature, that we want it to stay that way. But for tournaments we think that opening up the menu and reopening the tournament is a good compromise. Trials HD has zero loading times, so your do not have to wait to reopen the tournament.

It does not matter what kind of music we put in to the game. Someone will always complain about it. One of our testers for example didn't like the occasional metal riffs on the sound track.

These will be all fixed. And we will continue to remove all zero time racing scores and impossible score skill game results from the leaderboard for the whole game life time.

The game logic in tournament works differently than in single track mode. When you push B to restart to the last checkpoint, if you are not yet reached the first checkpoint, your faults are reset to zero in single race mode, but in tournament mode your fault counter remains.

Sebbbi you say someone will always complain the music. Thats absolutly correct. If someone wants a special music, then he should turn it on via the xbox guide menu.

    I dont understand the people.

Same with the quick restart via B in the single race. You said you got many complains.

    How many? 100? 500?

Okay and the other side are 295.500 people who like the quick restart and dont want it to be replaced with a confirmation dialogue.

Just my thoughts.. let it as it is right now

Oh and I think you misunderstood Attack. What he wants is that when you make a new highscore on a track when you are in tournament mode, then it will not be written to the leaderboards of that track.

What about adding a future in the pause menu to let us restart? Then you have to press two buttons, which is nice, instead of going out and then in again.

This is correct. We have programmed the game to mute all our background music if you are playing your own music using the Xbox 360 music player. It's a good way to change the game music if it does not suit your music taste.

Jesus Christ, how large are these people's thumbs if they hit the button by accident? The only time I ever hit it is when I bail, it's become a reflex.

    Exactly. That's my second recommendation.

I develop software (as minor as it be) and it takes much longer to restart a tournament than necessary, even with the "zero load times". Reduce the button presses, reduces the time, reduce the patience required by the end user. It stacks exponentially the more errors a user makes.

    This is also correct:

    I don't see why this shouldn't happen.

Of course I can play my own music and I do for the most part (As I Watch You From Afar currently) I was just taking a stab at the non-music genre that is techno.

P.S.: Please do something about the almost illegible captchas.
