I'm one of the most casual gamers there is. Still I don't whine so no stereotyping!!!Originally Posted by thepro![]()
Every time I see one of these posts I first think "Get over it, you shouldn't need to get the achievement." But thinking about it again... go ahead and make it easy to get. Make all the achievements easy to get for that matter. Because anyone who feels that they should be able to get every achievement is really missing the point of playing the game. I for one play the game to get better times, get better at the tracks and most important, have fun. I like the idea of a challenging achievement, but if it makes more people happy, then nerf it.
Well thats where achievement *****s like us differ from the "regular" gamers. We like to have a chance to finish a game at least. When an achievement is only for hardcore gamers... it kind of sucks for us. We tend to play a lot of games rather than spending 1000 hours on 1 game.Originally Posted by happydog
The only chance I have to get this achievement is before Sept. 15th. Dont get me wrong, I love this game and I am ranked 37th in the world right now. But on the 15th, NHL 2010 comes out and I plan on playing that all the way until Forza 3 comes out. Then I will be playing that and NHL until COD 6 comes out... then there goes the next 2 months of my gaming life. Then comes the random games I might get like Halo 3 ODST and Left 4 Dead 2. Before you know it its 6 months from now and I will have lost my touch in Trials HD and I will have to learn it all over again to even stand a chance at getting this achievement. It doesnt leave me a lot of time to keep practicing in Trials HD over and over again. This achievement is basically an unintentional way to make people play this game more than they would normally.
If people like the game, they will continue to play it for fun and to improve times. But many people will be playing it for a while ONLY to try and get that last achievement.

I agree as do a lot of other people. Achievements shouldn't be this hard. Some people, no matter how much practice cannot obtain the skill level required to get this, so making this slightly easier at least would be a great thing. Redlynx, you KNOW for a fact that more people want it changed than not, why haven't you guys done anything? SO many people complain about it, I just thought it would have impacted you guys harder. I'm not trying to make you guys sound like bad people, but c'mon! THIS ACHIEVEMENT IS OUTRAGEOUSLY DIFFICULT and the average/hardcore gamer cannot achieve this. Just please, do SOMETHING about it.
Thank you man this post is enough to Convince RedlynxOriginally Posted by TRAKDD![]()
You guys should really calm down and just be patient. i want this achievement changed as much as you if not more .Completing this game would put me at 87/92 Arcade games completed. I know that the other arcades I have played can easily be done with skill and I just dont have it in those games. But I feel kind of ripped off on this game (it was worth $15) because I have what feels like enough skill that I should have 200 but I still dont. With 28 tracks Platinum and 4 Tourneys Platinum and everything else Gold... I am ranked 36th in the world. Of all the games I have completed.. I have never been ranked this high on the leaderboards... but one of the few games that I love to play and am ranked very high.. I cant complete. It drives me crazy. I would love to spend more time on improving tracks and stuff but instead I am stuck playing Ultimate Endurance all the time and doing consistently good but never perfect.Originally Posted by saudipro
I am not saying that Redlynx will ever change it but if they do, it will take time. They have to make their changes to the game... then Microsoft has to do their tests and whatnot to verify the changes (and we know how slow they can be sometimes). So I would say it will be at least a month before anything happens and that is IF ANYTHING happens.

We play differently to you, simple as. The problem discussing the achievement on this forum, is basically it's a main stream forum for casual gamers, mainly for Trials HD fans to meet and compare times etc, I would say to anyone "whining" about marathon to direct posts to admin and/or devs, as the main users will not understand, if you want to complain and moan in general then join achievement forums where hardcore gamers meet, then we will get more understanding.
Don't bother. The DEVS know peoples concerns enough already. How many times do they need to hear "FIT IT, FIX IT, FIX IT!" or "Leave it Alone!"? I'm sure they acknowledge and consider all the "whining" both ways already in the forum. IF they're gonna do something they have probably already decided.Originally Posted by Nightwolf
