    Question about "Accomplishments"

    Hello,

I have played every level in the game, and have started trying to unlock the accomplishments. Some are impossible for me (like the Inferno in less than 6 faults one!). I was wondering how to unlock the Basics of Handling speed one, and the first one about "being awesome".

    Anyone know?

    Re: Question about "Accomplishments"

    Hello,

What is your account? This one?

Getting every achievement is very hard these days.
You mentioned the "Inferno" achievement. You shouldn't even try if you played this game only 20 hours or something like that because it requires a great deal of skills. "Many brave man have lost there souls while trying to get this achievement", well, I think that says it all.

And these days getting every achievement is almost impossible, for example "Top Score" and "Top Dog".
And only a few riders have the "True Fan" achievement. Right now only 38 riders.

So if you got every achievement except "Top Score", "Top Dog" and "True Fan" you did awesome.

About "Basics of Handling", just watch some replays of people who have a record under 4 seconds. Then try to do the same, that's all I can say.

    I hope this helped you.

Yep...that's my account! Not too great eh?!

Oh well...it is the best I can do! I watch some of the replay videos and just don't get how some guys can do it!

By the way....only 38 guys have True Fan...what do you do to unlock this one?

Also, I see one of the achievements is to complete all easy tracks without a fall in under 6 minutes. Is that total time for ALL tracks added together has to be less than 6 minutes? Or each track under 6 minutes?

All easy tracks combined has to be under 6 minutes, its not that hard really.

As for true fans, it is the holy grail of trials 2 achievements and is only awarded to people with original ideas that serve the community or are just plain awesome, and it has
to be something that hasnt been done before. Like for instance my Animated trials 2 avatars.

38 people with true fan, out of +75.000 riders, it is pretty damn exclusive, but im sure more people will get a TF achievement someday, just think of something funny, awesome and absolutely cool.

    Re: Question about "Accomplishments"

    Hi there !

Sorry about my lack of understanding... maybe its a silly question ... but I would like to know if the accomplishments provide some useful result on motorcycle, scores or something else... it would be nice to have more speed, balance, aceleration etc...

    Best regards to everybody!!

    Re: Question about "Accomplishments"

The Accomplishments are just for fun and bragging rights. They all seem really hard at first but they're actually nicely spread out so you gradually get them as you improve.
You can't do anything to change any properties of the bike, but that's fine. While the bike seems really hard to control at first, the more you play, the more you start to get a 'feel' for the bike, making it gradually become really nice to control. For example: play one track, then don't come back to it for another 5 hours or so, you'll be amazed how much easier it feels.

    Re: Question about "Accomplishments"

Thank you guys! Very nice to receive good feedback from experienced players!

Im playing for some weeks already and came from 100.000 or so position to a 2600... so, there is still a long way to run ... and top positions are really the very hardest ones... so my goal is to be under 1000 ... lets see... but I really understand what you mean, my feeling about tracks that seemed impossible at first, now is very different...

Sorry to be a little out of this topic, but there is any website or page teaching more deep technics like "nose bounce" and things like that?

    My best wishes for you!

    Re: Question about "Accomplishments"

some moves in the game are VERY hard and really shouldn't be attempted if you're very inexperienced. off the top of my head some of the hardest moves include:

the nose bounce at the start of Domino Effect
the long jump in Big Jumps
the shortcuts in Dizzy's 1st half
the shortcut at the loop on Fiery Justice
the shorcut towards the end of Under Construction
the shortcut at the end of No Air
making a perfect start in Speed Jumps

there are many more, but these are all good examples. Just play more and slowly you will start to understand what to do. the controls are so delicate that you'll find yourself trying for ages on some obstacles, but sooner or later everything will click.

watching top replays will help you quite a lot, but you have to understand the physics behind it too, because just copying key presses isn't gonna work most times.

dedication is key. some luck too. sooner or later you'll make it, gl.

    Re: Question about "Accomplishments"

Wow, that's a great list Norfair. I'm glad to hear someone say those things are really hard, cause I was worried it was just me sucking
The nose bounce in dominos is the only one I can do semi regularly (and only cause I'm sick to death of the tires not falling correctly).
I'd add the shortcut over the top of the barrier after the see-saw in dominos don't think anyone has done that in their top time).
Also I think the back wheel bounce just before the last checkpoint in Inferno is really really hard 've only hit it once after about an hour of practice - I think I need some tips for it).
