Common... I was trying to beat inferno II today when it told me sorry but you only have 30mins to complete.... WTFFFFFFFFFFFF I tried like 5billion times to get over the last part.
Why did they add that $%#$% limit on it @$#%@#%$@#
If you can't get thru a level before hitting the $%#$% limit you really need to go practice your skills on other boards. Let's face it if you couldn't do it 500 times you probably wouldn't get it after 1000 times. Hitting "B" that many times and restarting like every other second would probably melt your brain after 500 times/half hour.Originally Posted by X2DAZI understand why you don't like it but look at the $%#$% limit as another thing to drive you to do well....
just feel happy that in trials hd they don't give you an hour to fail.... happened to me once in T2 and that was upsetting.... to make you feel better though, it was Diablo, which I have since 0 faulted... so yeah, you get better
yeah but I like to do it slow.
Really feels like I am playing a demo that has a 30min time limit on it.
Who thought this was a good idea???
pffff not going even to bother if they not patch this up.
Well I PAID for the game so that is up to me.Originally Posted by billymagnum
What if let's say GTA had like the limit if you fail the mission 3 times you have to restart the whole game. That is something like that. People PAY for the game they can set there own rules don't you think.
I think you may have chosen a really bad point of reference there, gta has no checkpoints, i failed the last mission loads of times... sometimes because the game tells you to stay low in the helicopter, sometimes because i was playing it on pc and that game on pc is probably the most unstable game i have ever played.Originally Posted by X2DAZ
i understand where you are coming from, just don't use gta as an example of being a fair game
GTA TLAD has checkpoints
The game worked great on my pc and I finished it 3 times on my xbox 360.
But back to trials...
Why on earth would they add this limit.......... what is the point?
I mean, yes I suck so I don't care about the leaderbords etc. Why would they force you to rush to the finish?
I just don't understand it.
What's up with you guys nowadays? Just 2 weeks ago I heard something similar in the board of "Splosion Man". It was like "God damn! I paid for this f-in game where can I disable those drones?!". Problem was: The drone is a regular enemy in Splosion man. Sure it sucks sometimes but it's an enemy. The guy just needed to accept that. Where do we go if the developers enable us to disable enemies. Just takes the fun/pressure out of gaming.Originally Posted by X2DAZ
Same thing here: What do you want? If you can't finish it in under 500/30min you're not as good as you should be for that track. This means you have to train. Not just the hardest parts, everything. Try it one more time and you will see that you need way less faults then before because you know how it's done. At least most of the time. There are obstacles I really hateBut in the end this is what the game is about: Speed and perfection. You don't want an entry in the leaderboard saying "X2DAZ did it in just 9746 tried and 13:38:19". Learn, try again and you will see that it's getting easier.
And trust me, I'm not one of those guys who are playing this for years. Im in "the middle" of the leaderboards. I thought the same thing as you the first time I tried some of the extreme levels. I made the suggestion to include a "training" or "freeride" mode just to play the tracks without pressure. In the end you'll see that you got better in a few days. I had about 300 faults in "King of the hill" one week ago. Two days ago I got them down to 20. Today I got gold with just six faults. You see where this is going, right? Again: I'm not one of those hardcore T2 players. I got the game 2 weeks ago. If I can do that, you can do thatAnd don't hit B like every second. If you don't get over the obstacle try to land, concentrate and try again. Look what you're doing wrong and learn. If you just press B again and again you won't get better as you don't know what you just did to get over that obstacle. I guess that sums it up
BTW GTA sucks since it's in 3D. I would love to get something like GTA2 HD on XBLA![]()
if you are playing extreme tracks, your skill should already be high enough to be able to complete the track
Personally I only found the time limit affected me on 2 tracks: King of the Hill and Inferno 2. All the other tracks I was able to finish in under 30 mins, on my first attempt (obviously some of the time/faults weren't that great).
To be honest on both tracks after half an hour of failing at a particular section it was good to get a break from it. I think the longer you keep failing at a particular section the LESS likely you are to do it, even if you had infinite time. Once I get frustrated then each time I fail it gets worse, and I play worse.
I thought I would NEVER finish Inferno 2, but I did, and have done again.
