Strange Occurance Making a Cart - Any Ideas What Happened? | Forums

I'd been having a lot of trouble making carts or objects with moving wheels in general. So last night I sat down and started a new track just to mess around with wheels and the free rotation hinge. I created a base (a square log) and 4 wheels, put in my hinges connected everything and to my surprise got it to work straight away 'd failed horribly at using the FR Hinge in earlier maps). Once I had my cart I built a little track for it to run on and added some wooden platforms for my rider to stop on and then as a finishing touch i rested a missile on the front that bounced around a little and ultimately exploded when the cart reached the end of the track. I turned on the physics in the editor and it worked beautifully. Once I had it working in the editor I went to test it for real, it loaded up fine my rider pulled of the starting line and as soon as he touched the cart it disappeared and the camera (not a game camera) was flung somewhere that blocked my view from everything. From that point on nothing on that map worked properly and I ultimately had to scrap the whole map and start fresh. This wasn't a big deal since I was only making the map to learn some new design skills but had I been farther along on a more detailed map this could have been devastating. Anybody have any ideas what happened?

i have learned to harness this power but in a different way but what happeneds is and certain part of the contraption gets overstressed and when that part gets broken it flys off i first discovered this when making a swing car that would destroy the hinge at a certain point but the car was to have and just fell once i got on it then when it hit the trigger it flung off. it was really fun to play around with

also i checked out your maps and there pretty cool but i cant ride them cause i only have demo of game
