Hi guys
Firstly, fantastic game. I played the original trials on PC and what you've managed to do with Trials HD is just brilliant.
I created a level yesterday, then shared it and played it etc. However, a friend of mine was unable to find any shared content by me. Do both players need to be logged on at once?
Cheers
Tracks are held in your personal live storage space so any of your friends can download them at any time.Originally Posted by draycen
Thanks Sipe. So possibly it just didnt upload correctly I guess.
I'll try again tonight.
So it gets stored on my Windows Live account? I only have the chance to get on Xbox Live on rare occasions, so does this mean that I only have to connect my 360 to the internet once to upload a track, and then it will be shared from a separate online storage space?Originally Posted by sipe
Note this is just my thoughts on how it works, I could be way off.
When you share a track it gets uploaded to a server. In this way your friends can download the track without your xbox being on. What this also means is that you will need to be online at some point to allow the track to be uploaded. Until this happens, your friends won't be able to download it.
Slight digression here. After having bought Trials HD I think it's a fantastic game, however this limitation of only allowing friends to share tracks negates almost the whole point in having the editor and the ability to share levels.
If it were extended to a global level (and I've seen plenty crap hacks - people becoming temporary friends, etc) it would improve the game no-end.
Even the wii has the ability to share levels in boom blox party![]()
