I am struggling to make a cart vehicle to go on a track like in Dynamic Range. I don't get how the concrete tubes laying across the tracks are linked to the metal platform you ride on. Any tips?

I was just about to make the exact same thread so sorry but I wont be any help.
I am able to make a cart similar to the tutorial (it is a bit wonky but it works) The one you are talking about I agree doesnt make any sense as there seemingly isnt anywhere for the rotation hinges to go. :S

The free rotation hinge can be placed upright in the middle of the concrete tubes and then just glued to the platform as normal, at 90 degrees. Rotation hinges don't need to be connected flat between two surfaces. Not sure if that's what you meant The ridges on the concrete tubes are good for keeping it on the tracks.
