Track Sharing Suggestion
I understand the limitations of mass track sharing. But a suggestion that might help the user created tracks would be to allow people to reshare tracks. So once someone downloaded another person's track they could either choose to reshare it or edit it and share it as their own.
It may be easier to just treat the downloaded tracks as your own. So you can go into the editor and open them. Then resave them as your own to share.
I think this will really help this game's life to extend - which we all want.
Thanks,
John

Re: Track Sharing Suggestion
I'd be happy for for some sort of viral sharing where your friends can share with their friends etc, but I wouldn't like them to be able to edit my tracks and get the credit thats for sure.

Re: Track Sharing Suggestion
I feel if this was to happen even if you did allow editing of others levels they could simply put who the original creator was and put that it was edited from its original build. Also I think what would really help is if we could edit the in game tracks as well(may help explain how the game created some of the stuff better for newer players)...

Re: Track Sharing Suggestion
what about a peer 2 peer client to share tracks

Re: Track Sharing Suggestion
A system where you can invite people to some sort of lobby where they can view & download from your map list could work as well, right? It would be sort of weird but at least better than the current friends-only setup.

Re: Track Sharing Suggestion
I think a fair way would be that you can get any track as long as you can type the user to check, so you dont have to be a friend but you need to have that users name, so you can msg your mates with a good track and it could spread virally like that with credit always going to the creator?
