    Hi everyone,

Getting prolific now as track no. 6 is available for you to download and try. Spent a little time pondering on the name, eventually went for L0RD Melchett | 006 - there's originality for you!

Anyway, this level is rated Hard although I would say it's not as hard as some of my others. It is basically split into 3 "rooms", consisting of metal, barrel and wood obstacles. Fairly technical but nothing so difficult that it isn't possible to keep up a level of fluidity with practice. I have added lots of checkpoints, much like on the official levels within the game, in an effort to encourage you to try and post faster times. I'd be keen to know if anyone can get a time of under 1:50mins and 1 fault or less which is what's needed to get a Platinum medal. I can't do it myself yet but with meticulous testing between each checkpoint, and deducting about 10 seconds for fluidity rather than starting from scratch at each point like I was, I reckon this course is achievable in under 1:40mins to the toughened pro.!

Let me know what you think and hope you enjoy it! : )

Your sixth track is great. nice and technical and feels great even with the simplistic scenery. Lots of clever obstacles this time too.

I love the tracks. They're as challenging as they are fun. Each one seems to be better than the last.

Hi. Love your tracks. I particularly like 01, 02 and 06. Found the camera in 05 a little bit too animated, but thats my personal preference. Definately technical. Still havent taken managed your Extreme track. Cant get past the rail sleepers!

Thanks guys for your positive feedback on my courses. I'm glad that, generally, you all like them.

TomtheDon01, appreciate your feedback, many thanks. Re: my extreme course, track 04, there is a guide on how to complete this first part a few posts above this one. Take a look, it might help you. Will probably end up changing this part of the course before long though which will please a number of people, myself included! It's not so much that's it's difficult that I don't like, more that you seem to have to rely a little on luck aswell to get over it and it shouldn't be about that, hence it's gotta go!

Still got a few friends spaces left, so if anyone else wants a crack at any of my courses FR's to L0RD Melchett (note the 0 in L0RD is a zero), particularly if you've got a few of your own Hard / Extreme tracks to share!

    Adios

Re: L0RD Melchett - Technical tracks to share

Just to let you know, I have updated and amended some of my tracks as follows:

L0RD Melchett | 001 : Made it look a bit prettier, changed the setting from Easy to Medium (not really sure why I thought it should be classed as Easy in the first place) and set the medal times. Platinum: 30secs / 0 faults, Gold: 40secs / 1 fault, Silver: 52 secs / 5 faults. With a bit of practice I've managed 29.61 secs and 0 faults so Platinum is definitely achieveable.

    L0RD Melchett | 002 & 003: (no change)

L0RD Melchett | 004: Updated the first obstacle to something less frustrating and also put a checkpoint in the middle of it. I would rate it as a Medium/Hard obstacle rather than a Hard/Extreme obstacle now. Rest of the course remains the same. Updated the medal times. Platinum: 3:00mins / 2 faults, Gold: 4:30mins / 10 faults, Silver: 7:00mins / 40 faults. So far I've only managed 4:19 mins and 14 faults for a Silver. Time is quick enough for a Gold but too many faults.

L0RD Melchett | 005: Changed rating from Hard to Extreme as I think it warrants an upgrade. Updated the medal times. Platinum: 1:50mins / 1 fault, Gold: 2:15mins / 5 faults, Silver: 2:45mins / 20 faults. I have managed 2:23 and 17 faults for a Silver but plenty of practice in testing on a per obstacle test run has proved that the others are definitely possible.

L0RD Melchett | 006: Updated the medal times. Platinum: 1:50mins / 1 fault, Gold: 2:30mins / 5 faults, Silver: 3:30mins / 25 faults. My best is 3:24 and 8 faults for a Silver. I didn't have a particularly smooth run, struggliing to get up a lot of obstacles and sliding back even though I wasn't crashing hence the high time and low faults. Gold is definitely on the cards soon, Platinum, although I know it's possible after rigorous testing will take me a while.

So, to cap - you need to delete courses 1, 4, 5 and 6 and download the new ones. These will be the final updates for these courses. All times are achieveable, all obstacles are achieveable without faulting but they are meant to be tough times and challenging tracks to conquer.

Be interested to know of any Platinum times you may acquire on these tracks.

Re: L0RD Melchett - Technical tracks to share

    Hello there!

Well track no. 7, and imaginatively titled "L0RD Melchett | 007", is up and running and ready to download. It's rated Hard although it could be (should be?) rated Extreme in places. It's set in a sort of underground sewerage works so plenty of pipes, water and compulsory green lighting to set the atmosphere. Obstacle-wise it's the usual thing from me with plenty of technical hops, tight platforms and testing climbs to entertain you. Thanks to 'Ir0n Soldier' for invaluable advice during creation, partiularly for suggesting the theme and pointing out when I get sidetracked and don't stick to it! Also, influenced by some of the insane speeds and death-defying jumps that find their way into 'FleaFly87' s exciting courses I went straight back to my slow, little course and shoved a mega-long downwards pipe followed by a huge crazy-*** jump into the middle of it. Just couldn't resist it! : )

Medal times for this course are as follows:

    Platinum: 02:15 mins / 0 faults

    Gold: 03:00 mins / 8 faults

    Silver: 3:45 mins / 25 faults.

Again, rigorous testing has led me to believe it should be possible, with practice and skill, for the best of you to complete this course in just under 2:00 mins. I have achieved 2:59 mins and 11 faults on my first full attempt. Wasn't pushing for a really fast time and the 11 faults cost me a good 30 seconds. See how you get on and let me know what you think.

    Cheers,

    L0RD Melchett

[Got a few friend spaces still available but off to Spain for a few days on Saturday morning so put your request in quick if you can otherwise you'll have to wait for me to get back!]
