Is there a way to have both? in the option menu you could "Turn restart comformation on" maybe....

And an option to turn "REALLY fast restart" on... without "ready, go" at all

How about an automatic restart? When you crash, you restart automatically at the beginning within less than a quarter of a second

Red Lynx I implore you please for the love of God please add an update that asks you to confirm before starting the level over when the select button is pressed.

The forums would be filled with hate mail if we did that. There is a complaint thread about not having a BACK button fast restart in tournaments. Trials HD pros feel that pressing 3 buttons instead of one to restart a 20 track tournament is too much... having to press 2 buttons to restart a single track would be an outrage... The best players have mashed the BACK button for tens of thousand times. That many confirmation dialogs would cause a lot more pain and agony than pressing the BACK once or twice by accident

That is the perfect answer my friend, I hate tournaments because I have to press start, then exit, then start it again. Every milisecond Im not playing a track....Gets me very angry (Kidding)

how about the back button only restarts on first track of tournament, besides that everything is good

I had similar problems when I was working on Inferno II and kept restarting by accident, but it's something you just eventually get used to. Using a smoother motion for back and forth bunny hop type parts helps to decrease accidental back button presses. One question I have though, as another possible remedy to this, is it possible to make an update that would allow custom button mapping?

For example, you could disable the back button, or say, remap the the restart function to something else more out of the way, like the LB button for instance. Would something like this be possible?
